Unfortunately we blew our chance when the rams were panic buying last year struggling off their super bowl win last year. We will never see anything close to the same return that they offered. We might see a 1st + a low round pick (maybe 5th) for him, but nothing better. I'm an FSU fan and love burns, but we absolutely poo the bed not accepting that trade

I would throw darnold in the upper echelon backups. The dude is capable of making most NFL throws. It's just a matter of whether he sees it or not. I still think darnold played pretty well for us last year, even in games where we had no running game whatsoever.

If you are playing all of your backups and third string in a game, it wouldn't be as bad. And if they are taking cheap shots at your most important player, they have absolutely earned All of the cheap shots they get in retaliation. I hear what you are saying, but I would absolutely be telling my players to go all out and not be afraid of any penalties based on the cheap shots that are being talked about that happened earlier in the week

The Georgia game proved that one. People just didn't understand that he didn't need to at Ohio State because his passing was so great combined with his o-line being very good.
