Robbie Anderson traded to Arizona
Leeroy Jenkins Ph.D. replied to jamos14's topic in Carolina Panthers
I am hearing it is undisclosed draft compensation, so not a player for player trade or anything like that, not that we were expecting it to be. -
Just Sitting Here, Hitting Refresh

And now I can get back to work. -
Anyone else just sitting here this morning hitting refresh, waiting to see where our players get traded. After yesterdays performance, pretty sure at least one player is traded away today. I am assuming a team is going to give us a contingent 4th-6th for Robbie Anderson that is dependent on performance. Packers obviously need WR help. Giants as well. Miami could be dealing with some injuries to the WRs.

If you don't think we should be drafting a QB to compete, watch the Alabama Tennessee game tomorrow. The Bryce Young v. Hendon Hooker match-up will tell you a lot about these players. Should be a great watch. Hell, you know Deshaun Watson will be watching, but probably just confused because someone said young and hooker in the same sentence.

Graziano: "Lots of buzz" Panthers could fire Rhule
Leeroy Jenkins Ph.D. replied to Mr. Scot's topic in Carolina Panthers
Y'all, stop. We have to keep Rhule. How else can we ensure getting the number 1 draft pick? This is the same franchise that had to endure Jimmy Pickles so we could have Cam. Shut up and take your medicine. Better times are ahead. -
The Browns also ruled OT Jack Conklin (knee), OT Chris Hubbard (elbow) and WR Michael Woods II (hamstring) as questionable. If Conklin and Hubbard are both unavailable, the Browns will turn to backup tackles James Hudson III and Joe Haeg, a seventh-year veteran who signed Monday with the Browns.

The Cleveland Browns have placed CB Greedy Williams (hamstring) on injured reserve. The team has also signed CB Herb Miller to the active roster from the practice squad.

I think Bozeman will be under center before the end of the game this Sunday. I really think Elfein has a very short leash as Rhule already basically named Bozeman the starter before his injury. Elfein is going to be a competent back-up with position flexibility and he is not AS BAD as most make him out to be. He is, however, overpaid in comparison to his role and ability.

Now is the time because next year we are somehow 20 million over the cap already.

Final predictions for the season?
Leeroy Jenkins Ph.D. replied to hepcat's topic in Carolina Panthers
Being weak against the run is exacerbated by having a bad offense. If the opposing team gets a lead, it allows them to focus on running out the clock. Our secondary should be opportunistic this year and we should be able to stop teams from playing catch-up. Season will come down to our ability to score and score quickly. The coaching staff wanting to focus on being a run first team is going to be detrimental to our success. In a ground and pound competition we will lose. 6-11. -

DT Malcom Brown cut by the Jaguars
Leeroy Jenkins Ph.D. replied to hepcat's topic in Carolina Panthers
In reading through the Jags message boards it appears this was likely a combinations of a couple of things. It saves them 3 million in cap space. He was surpassed by 2 younger players and was 3rd on the depth chart playing late into the 4th quarter of their preseason game. Their coach apparently "hasn't been happy with the interior line since camp started." and has been bringing in veteran D-Lineman for tryouts, such as Ddamukong Suh and Danny Shelton (just signed with Chiefs) and they fully expect a veteran to be signed within the next 24 hours. -
PFF Best & Worst of the Washington game
Leeroy Jenkins Ph.D. replied to top dawg's topic in Carolina Panthers
I remember specifically looking up who #69 was because of how bad he looked out there. Not surprised at all to see Frank Herron at the bottom of the list. That man did not look like he was in the same league. -
Breaking down the Panthers 2022 schedule
Leeroy Jenkins Ph.D. replied to hepcat's topic in Carolina Panthers
People are starting to believe. The Carolina Panthers (+25000) have received the third most money at Caesars Sportsbook to finish with the NFL's best regular season record. Yes, I am sure the odds definitely help, but 3rd most money... Sharks are smelling something in the water.... -

Panthers Looking at Danny Shelton in FA
Leeroy Jenkins Ph.D. replied to ncfan's topic in Carolina Panthers
Looking at his PFF grades; 2015; 63.4 2016; 82.1 2017; 69.6 2018; 73.3 2019; 72.3 2020; 51.1 2021; 45.0 Seems to be on a downward trajectory. -
Adam Rank doesn't know what the bar for Rhule is.
Leeroy Jenkins Ph.D. replied to top dawg's topic in Carolina Panthers
I don't think wins and losses will necessarily be the measuring stick used for Rhule this season. Last season Rhule was simply out-coached on a number of occasions. Teams accurately scouted and shut down the majority of what the Panthers were doing on both offense and defense and it did not appear that any adjustments were made on our part. Rhule has yet to adjust to the NFL, and his coordinators and position coaches reflected that. College football is largely about having a strength and utilizing that strength to win games. The NFL is more advanced, in that you need to exploit other teams weaknesses and hide/adjust your own weaknesses to win games. This was never more evident than his push to run the ball midway through last season stating “We have not been committed enough to running it and that's going to change." Emphasizing the running game should be about conditions and match-ups with your next opponent, not a general philosophy. That is for mid-level college teams. -
This is very accurate. An IQ test is composed of 4 domains including verbal comprehension, perceptual reasoning, working memory, and processing speed. Each of these domains is composed of 2 or 3 separate measures. A Full Scale IQ Test is composed of 10 different subtests. The wonderlic seems like a combination of the Information subtest and arithmetic subtest, with possibly a processing speed component due to time constraints. No way near an accurate predictor of intelligence.
