  1. 1/3rd of the playbook is out. I think this is smoke because everyone figured out we were taking Stroud too early and the NFL didnt like it. The league wants the pick to be a surprise.
  2. hard to do a qb sneak from shotgun formation....
  3. 67% is a far cry from the 90%+ that the cards have been in shotgun since drafting Murray. We will be the same if we draft Young, it is necessary for him to be able to see the field. He cant take 7 step drops every play in the NFL, tackles wont hold up against speed rushers and he will get killed by a huge guy coming off the edge.
  4. Makes sense for a team built with a power running game oline to draft the guy that will put us in shotgun formation 98% of the time.
  5. My sources tell me that the Panthers traded up for....................... a QB.
  6. If you look at him from just the right angle and squint your eyes just as the sun hits, he is not really 5"10 185 pounds. All people want to talk about is him not getting hurt because of his size......but what about having to cater your entire offense to make up for his size?
  7. Does it really matter if they had the cap and no one else to really spend it on? Never cared for obj but it's a one year deal, if it was a multi year deal then they would be in trouble
  8. I dont see how you figure that. Stroud has the stronger arm and is probably just as fast as BY. The only thing you can really say BY is better at is his brain, but Stroud is not a slouch in that department either. What can you do though, its David Newton just be happy he got everyone's name right, IDK how this ass clown still has a job.
  9. It's not even about the injury because of his size, it his playstyle. He has a average to below average arm and probably runs a 4.7-4.8 forty yard dash. If we pick him I will support the little dude, but I don't know how his game will translate to the NFL. Dropping back farther in the pocket is a death wish when playing against NFL edge rushers. If he steps up he can't see the field anymore. I just don't know what he will be able to do.
  10. Tua was also the projected #1 pick in his draft for awhile...... I bet the Bengals are glad they didn't take him..
  11. This sounds like a true story. If it is not going to be Stroud it has to be AR. You dont draft 5"10 185 pounds at #1. Especially when he has a average arm and is not exceptionally fast.
  12. Go away Ron, 3 winning seasons in your entire career as a HC and not another one in sight. You suck as a HC.
  13. We dont have the roster the niners have if we are on our 3rd/4th QB the season is lost. Those spots can be used for people who actually contribute on game day. How many games do you think we win last season with Brock Purdy?
  14. He is in line to be a top 5 QB for years to come with all the old guys going out. He was basically a rookie last season as he spent his actual rookie season under the only other NFL coach that was worse than Rhule. First season with a real HC he won a playoff game. I think his arrow is pointing up.
  15. Im not sure how deciding between Stroud and Young results in a different outcome then. One guy has the tools for the NFL, the other doesn't. At least AR has the tools he just needs polish.
  16. Nice, maybe he can be a coach after he gets David Carr'd in Texas.
  17. Drafting young basically limits your playbook on offense to compensate for his size in trade for some schoolyard plays when everything breaks down. Stroud plays pro style ball and the playbook will not suffer. If anything we should be deciding between Stroud and Richardson.
  18. This is the real bumper pool. that guy is just a cheap rip off
  19. This dumbass really requested a trade? Why the fug do you think they gave you the non exclusive franchise tag genius? No one is willing to pay you a fully guaranteed contract, you have already cost yourself $ on your next contract. Bite the bullet and sign the next decent offer you get.
  20. https://www.si.com/nfl/cardinals/analysis/arizona-cardinals-wont-get-asking-price-deandre-hopkins-trade "The reason why? He’s missed 17 games in the past two years (11 because of injury), he’s about to turn 31 and he’s coming with strings attached (one being that he really doesn’t practice during the week, which is more manageable in some places than others). Because of that, you can immediately eliminate teams that are rebuilding, have a rookie quarterback or might need a culture change (where the highest-paid players need to drive the atmosphere). That means the market is limited. He’s also owed $19.45 million for 2023."
  21. I think your still traumatized from Hurney burns, none of these contracts we have signed so far are crippling deals. I think Samir deserves some credit though, he works out the contracts and handles the cap...
