Good info here, the patriots are a well rounded team. Being average at everything is actually impressive in the NFL with a rookie QB. Not deep playoffs impressive but they aren’t losing to any bad teams and will beat some good ones…I give Miami a pass for a rookie’s first game. Absolutely slaughtered the Jets twice compared to our nail biter. Beat the Chargers, who I’d doubt we’d even have a chance against. Two point game vs Bucs and took Cowboys to OT. With a rookie QB. false. there are numerous threads analyzing plays in his first two years where he gave up blocks and quit on routes, and an obvious general lack of effort - teammates literally called him out. i’m surprised people forgot all this…it was a valid concern yea he stepped up for one year it seems (last year), but this this notion is not new.

hopefully people will realize you can’t just plug in a good QB on a garbage team and franchise and expect results but they probably won’t

DJ could be playing better if he wanted to. he also has had this motivation issue in the past quite a bit if you’ve paid attention to his career. doesn’t mean he isn’t good, just means he could be better, and that says a lot since he is already damn good. i’d consider that paying him a huge contract is all, the panthers are absolute suckers for players who fall off a cliff after payday which bring me to Robbie…what a really fuging stupid idea to sign him to what they did, I’d rather have DJ for sure

Moore was lazy yesterday. just like his missed block. he has these games, and it is why smitty called him out twice in the past and miraculously he stepped it up when smitty did so. that’s a strange thing to happen and you don’t need to do that with good players. i have always said this has been my main concern signing him. he may quit after being paid.
