  1. Bro, no offense but you sound delusional. I get your point about building a team to compete and CMC going to a NFC team but I am not sure you fully comprehend how far this franchise has sunk, and from being mediocre at that. Tepper just said he will still be doing the hiring without any outside help. He will still be calling all the shots. He is refusing any self awareness. He saw what his decisions led to, and somehow concluded he was competent to continue. What the fug do you think this means for us? This is the Browns blueprint. Meanwhile You’re over here worried about building a team that can handle the forty niners and nfc in what? A playoff game? A championship game? Lol This team has no HC no QB and no GM and no owner basically. There is zero reason to worry - the Panthers won’t be on the 49ers level or legit playoff level until CMC is about to retire, mark my words. the trade was a good trade, don’t be mad about some hypothetical that will never be. Look at what actual is. Read between the lines, observe the details and follow the trend. We suck and we suck hard.
  2. exactly who gives two shits about rhule when the head of the snake lives on until Tepper hires consulting and admits he needs help (he won’t) we are royally fuged. this guy is playing real life madden after just finding out what madden is.
  3. I agree cmac is more than just a hb and people are really ignorant to that - but fact remains he was being wasted here. He has got to be on a team that has multiple weapons and San Fran understood that. Otherwise opposing teams will just dial in on him and kill and offense designed with his as the main star. not to mention an OC/HC that knows how to use him and extend his career. Carolina wasn’t doing poo with cmac, and that is the fault of being a shitty franchise with a dumbass owner. For those reasons it was a good deal for everyone.
  4. Dude prolly shouldn’t have signed a new contract if that’s how he felt. This is the new Browns. Get on board with the dysfunctional, embarrassing, perennial losing franchise or gtfo. In five years Tepper has (literally) not done a single thing that has positively impacted the results on the field. Unless you include firing his own inept hires. That’s what you sign up for coming to Carolina.
  5. People who thought Forman was as good as CMC don’t understand football at even a Madden level. DJ is not ‘explosive’ either. If you even casually watch NFL games outside the team, DJ is not really impressive in any sense. This offense sucks big time and has a ton of needs.
  6. After the past half decade, the every two year poo seems really nice actually.
  7. Tepper looks back at his decisions so far and decides to announce he feels it’s important to still be heavily involved in hiring process. Seriously. You can’t make this poo up. It was that moment that I knew we are at the least in for another round of idiocy; at most, this losing culture and dysfunctional franchise are here to stay. Losing will become the norm. Going to games will be a drunken novelty event. In essence the new Browns.
  8. Wtf that does not even apply to this lmao, do you even understand the theorem you linked? It relies on infinite time and random input and isn’t relevant at all. Since Tepper took over most of his dumbass blunders were immediately called out and shortly later failed over a spans of five years, which is a just a tad shorter than an infinite amount of time. Furthermore, as much as the huddle argues at one another it was a general consensus of probably like 80% of the huddle (which is impressive), far less than 100s or 1000s, not random patterns, and not infinite time. 50 posters (declining over time), one pattern, foresight, five years. Finally, your conclusion also makes zero sense. These things don’t mean huddlers would be a good GM. It means our GM and owner are not good enough to be a GM/owner. Get it?
  9. people point to djs stats since he was drafted with trash qbs but then blame trash qbs, which is it? DJ is not a #1. Gives up and can’t block. Past stats largely cam in trash time playing from behind near end of games. I’ve watched his whole career. that said he is a solid 2 and would be better with a 1 on the field, not just for defenses attention, but also said 1 barking at him. It’s what he needs. Proof: smitty calling him out twice and twice miraculously played better.
  10. How far we have sunk when Sam Darnold is the best qb on the team.
  11. Ahhhhh I remember the days Igo and I went back and forth because he thought Will Grier was a better QB lol
  12. Nah, what he did was to be expected coming from a small time college coach. The real idiocy comes from Tepper. And he is clearly doubling down this year as he stated he wants to be heavily involved in the new hirings. Looks like he saw something he liked in the decisions he’s been making so far while establishing the worst stretch of franchise history.
  13. It’s almost as dumb as don’t draft a qb because they might not work out. Anyone saying that is saying they wouldn’t have drafted Cam, who definitely had red flags on not working out, and look like an idiot tbh. This logic can actually be applied to a lot of good QBs playing or have played. What really matters is a competent FO, which we don’t have, like not even close.
  14. Well weren’t there candidates that refused to even interview last time? And I know a lot of refused to interview for really bad teams like the Texans and Browns. I also know coaches like Payton (no we aren’t getting him but) said he would not go to a bad situation and I believe these kinds of coaches have choices. Generally I think the idea is overblown, but this is once again just another side effect of Tepper running this poo into the ground into being the new modern Browns. There really is a difference going to a bad team situation and a dysfunctional franchise situation. If I was a candidate I sure as hell would at least have demands after witnessing what this trash organization just went through and then have Tepper turn around and still think he needs to be involved. Not to mention the possibility of strapping you to a GM that is also an idiot.
  15. and soon at least we aren’t the Panthers will be the new at least we’re not the browns… actually we may already be there Wtf Tepper is that you?
  16. I think kids fantasize about a perfect world where something so ‘horrible’ doesn’t happen but Santa clause doesn’t exist.
  17. Texans as well. It’s as if the tanking teams are actually setting themselves up. Meanwhile we’ve been trading away picks and denying accumulating them lol We are doomed until Tepper gets out of his own way.
  18. This is correct. The blatant homerism of this site to claim a CB is better than a franchise QB is dumbfounding and embarrassing. Albeit a bit early to know but Fields is trending up after a rough start which was the unanimous analysis/prediction after all.
  19. Have you read the legal contract documentation and bankruptcy filings regarding the Rock Hill and Tepper situation?
  20. If he is too inept to be involved to be in the hiring process yet too stupid or egotistical to recognize this, on top of not knowing how the NFL works, what does it matter?
  21. Darnold produces the same results as baker with the worst oline and no cmc but some fans think we still don’t know what we have in Baker lol No QB should be returning to the team next year but if you’re playing the best pick from our QB shitpile it’s Darnold.
  22. please god no, and Fit needs to go too in fact that’s the real telling sign. if Fit is still here, we are doomed for another failure of Tepper’s dumbassery and he will clearly not be learning from his fug ups or the rest of the NFL in that case we can only hope he will change three years from then when his plan inevitable fails yet again
  23. Weird how people are paid off and we won’t see the details… Tepper is a fuging snake and awful owner.
