I have rooted for the Chargers for decades but never followed them, but if the Rhule clown show returns I'm going to root for the Panthers and follow the Chargers.

How to this point has no one mentioned coaching? DL coach Okam is a Baylor transfer, no NFL coaching background before coming here last year with Rhule/Snow. Is he able to coach up Brown should be a large question.

Not drafting Slater was a hideous gaff. Then cutting Greer in favor of his Temple boy was another silly gaff, boy, could we use Greer now. Fitts needs to trade Brady for Greer before the deadline.

Did anybody watch Monday Night Football last night? The smart move would be to start Walker Sunday because with this pitiful OL there is likely a repeat of what happened to Justin Fields on Sunday which increases the chance of Sam having a season ending injury. In fact, activate Morgan so that if Walker goes down we send in the 3rd stringer and to be really safe make Sam inactive. Keep him off the field at all cost. And do you Panther fans now see why last spring I was pushing for the team to draft Parsons?

Amen to your post Rags, for me it was still a win of sorts since the Bolts are the team I root for in that other Conference. Seems our GM was more concerned with trading down than drafting the best/most needed player.

I was sooooo disappointed last winter that no one hired him to be their headcoach. The guy is somehow still living off that one season at LSU, certainly not off anything he's done with the Panthers. He needs to go.

As i pointed out when he was drafted, the kid had a bit of a rep for dropping catches in college.
