Players to keep when the teardown eventually happens
rmoneyg35 replied to Panthers Fan 69's topic in Carolina Panthers
I say we trade everyone except good offensive lineman, maybe keep Horn too. I hope we can get a good draft pick for Chinn but because our coaching staff has him playing so many different positions which has made him look bad, I wonder if it’s dropped his value. I am sure we can get some first round picks for Burns, I say trade him if we can get multiple first or a first and a few 2nd or third round picks. I think we can get something for DJax. Possibly a second round pick. Cornerbacks are highly valued in the nfl and Jackson is in his prime, corners tend to start sucking once they turn 30 so better trade him while he’s in his prime and we can get the most value for him. cmc is a tough one, he’s a top RB when healthy, problem is Running backs don’t have a lot of value in the NFL and he has a big contract. I doubt we can get a first round pick for him considering his contract and injury history. I don’t think we would get much for Derrick Brown or YGM but if they improve then I can see us getting maybe a 3rd round pick for them, depending how good of a season they have. Shaq Thompson would probably be worth a 3-4th round pick considering his position and his contract. DJ Moore is a player I would trade in a heart beat, we can probably get a first round pick for him and more. other than that I don’t see us getting much for any other players on our team besides our offensive linemen and J Horn. We might could get a 1st for Moton but I value offensive linemen too much to want to get rid of them. -
The Previous Game is Under Review- Any Specific Requests?
rmoneyg35 replied to TheCasillas's topic in Carolina Panthers
I know ricci and Anderson dropped a pass. yeah I expect more from a 4 year QB but to his defense our offensive line hasn’t played well, our receivers are dropping passes and he is learning a new playbook and has a new team he has build chemistry with. If he doesn’t improve in a few games then I think we should worry. -
Lmao I’m glad I’m not the only person struggling with all these apps to watch football
-
I don’t think that is the reason why he’s played well. Defensive line is one of those positions that can take a few years for a player to develop. maybe Brown is finally getting it. Still I would like to wait until I see more games before making a decision.

I would love to see a review of Derrick Brown. Maybe it’s just me but it seems that he was doing everything yesterday, tipping passes, making plays in the backfield, getting to the QB, stopping the run, making key blocks, etc. didn’t he also have another good game last week? If I remember correctly he was listed as one of our top defensive players one week according to PFF. would also love to see how our offensive line played. I know Baker played bad but it seemed he was being pressured all game and didn’t have a lot of time to get rid of the ball. I would also love to see how many balls were dropped by receivers. -
Is it me or has Brown played really well this year? I noticed today he was making a lot of plays and getting to the Qb and doing important things that doesn’t always show up in the stat sheet. Problem is I don’t think he’s a NT.
-
Luvu played well last year but it was in limited time. He’s a play maker and can get to the qb. Luckily he has one more year on his contract because if he keeps playing like this he’s going to want a lot of money!

Lmao We don’t have a great D, our defense was giving up a lot of big plays, the only reason why we weren’t getting destroyed is because Winston was injured and kept missing passes. Without the turnovers and missed field goals the defense would had been average. If they played an above average QB we would have been destroyed. We don’t have a solid run game either, we have CMC and that’s it. Our offense sucks, our offensive line while maybe not giving up a lot of sacks isn’t giving our qb a lot of time to throw. Our WRs are dropping passes all the time and our play calling isn’t that good.

Just a friendly reminder about today's victory...
rmoneyg35 replied to Proudiddy's topic in Carolina Panthers
We didn’t win because we were the better team, we didn’t out coach them. They beat themselves. Winston sucked, playing injured, they made mistakes, our defense gave up a lot, besides a few players playing well they didn’t do that good. Our offense was garbage but now because we won, Rhule going to act like he Bill Belicheat. -
I’m not saying Mayfield is a top NFL qb but he is a starting caliber who has potential for being better. There isn’t no one we can acquire that will be better than him. He wasn’t on a great Browns team either .
-
Yeah it sucks but context is key. It’s two games, you could look at Tom Brady’s career and find 2 games that were just as bad. He’s coming off a injury, on a new team with new coaches and playbook. He’s only been here a few months, we don’t even know if he knows the entire playbook. No it’s not good but it’s not the end of the world. We have seen bigger turn arounds. We know that Baker when healthy is a above average QB. He still is young enough to get better. Let’s not ignore how bad our WRs and Offensive line has been either.

Will this franchise ever have an "offense minded" head coach
rmoneyg35 replied to TheBigKat's topic in Carolina Panthers
Well we have a very offensive head coach…. -
I mean having Hill, Waddle and Gesicki helps a lot. They also have had a solid team that’s young.

Robbie Anderson: Fans shouldn't bring negative energy

Tell his Krusty the Clown looking ass to shut up -
Here’s an idea, maybe our offense is simple because Baker is still new to the team and learning the playbook thus we can’t run everything yet?

Easy fix here, draft Bryce Young and hire Ken Dorsey

Or just go with a DE, Will Anderson? -
Are we at the lowest point in panthers history?
rmoneyg35 replied to Panthers Fan 69's topic in Carolina Panthers
I feel like the 2-14 season was worse than the 1-15 people 2001 panthers. We had a lot of young talent on that roster and knew we would get a great pick. Our roster in 2010 wasn’t that good but we also didn’t have a lot of cap room and I think if I remember correctly we didn’t have all our draft picks. Also I felt like we didn’t have a lot of young upcoming talent on the roster. -
Maybe it’s me but I feel like the jets, falcons, lions and giants have a better team and are in a better position than us (draft picks, cap, coaching) I feel only the bears, Texans, and Seahawks are worse. Maybe the jags but they at least have Lawrence who could be great and they always can get top free agents each year.

I don’t watch much college football but what little I’ve seen and looking at his stats I just don’t see what makes him a top 3 qb of this class… also Bryce Young being 6’0 and not even 200 pounds worries me, assuming that’s correct. Then again how good is young considering the talent around him? -
I pray for cmc. He’s going to be in a wheelchair by the age of 30 if he stays with the panthers.

Is Levi’s that good? I see people mock him high yet I just don’t see what is so great about him…. Im scared of drafting Ohio state QBs -
I always laugh when people act like we are close to being a playoff team. We are too young with too many coaching problems and have too many holes to be close to a playoff team.
-
Wow I didn’t know he was that bad. I have a theory about Rhule. He didn’t really turn Baylor around like people think. Baylor was going to be a decent team anyhow and just had a bad season because of the disciplinary actions of the scandal and players leaving. Baylor was a good enough and popular enough school that it would have naturally improved itself over time. They actually would have an easy time recruiting players because they could offer them playing time for a big 12 school, something they might not have been able to get elsewhere.
-
Cam wasn’t ever more than an average throwing QB and his mvp season was a fluke because of other top qbs being injured and cam getting constant great field position because of the defense.
