  1. Hard to say, Lasik may have really helped him. I would have rather had him than Teddy. He would have been A HELL of a lot cheaper, and would have been extremely entertaining and equally frustrating. I can see the record being the same, but instead of checkdowns like Teddy, he would throw interceptions to lose 4th quarter games.
  2. Piling up on rookies and draft picks really helps too. When veteran players are demanding large contracts, they already have their replacement drafted for a rookie deal. Sorting through 10-12 rookies to see if they will contribute is a HELL of a lot cheaper and WAY less riskier than signing free agents.
  3. Just think how much we would have saved if we didn't sign Bridgewater but signed (say) Jameis Winston instead. Oh, and didn't sign Kwann Short to the deal we did.
  4. Folks against it use that as their current excuse "People with the vax are getting it, so why bother?" Look where that got Perryman lol.
  5. Exactly. Why do you think travel restrictions to and from Europe were so eased conveniently through tourism months, and are now being enforced again? Its not "Americans are a risk for Delta", its "you made your money and now time to go back into safe mode"
  6. “On Saturday, Cam Newton traveled to a Club-approved medical appointment that required him to leave the New England area,” the team said in a statement. “He received daily Covid tests, which were all negative. Due to a misunderstanding about tests conducted away from NFL facilities, and as required by the NFL-NFLPA protocols, Cam will be subject to the five-day entry cadence process before returning to the facility. Cam will continue participating virtually in team activities and return to the club facility on Thursday, August 26.” https://www.patspulpit.com/2021/8/23/22637920/cam-newton-misunderstanding-covid-19-protocols-patriots-nfl-practice Just eyeballing it, it appears he may have gotten his Covid test while he was at the medical appointment instead of getting it at the team facility.
  7. I think we kicked the tires on him a bit already didn't we? Like he came to a day of training camp and the team had no interest.
  8. Much MUCH less likely to spread if every single person is also vaccinated. The unvaxxed person (or persons) make it a liability to continue spreading between each other. That's the version I understand anyways. I still for the life of me cannot figure out why 50,000 people are allowed in a stadium if they have a vaccine card without having to have a negative test (meaning they may be positive and can spread to unvaxxed people) and are in the same vicinity of unvaxxed people who have a negative test. All of this with zero social distancing or masks. If this was as serious as they are trying to make it out to be, everyone should prove their vaccination, have a negative test, and still social distance with masks once inside the stadium.
  9. It is also an excellent way to keep the cap down, having lots of players on rookie contracts, wheeling and dealing players that are going to demand a lot of cap space to remain on the team.
  10. I am pretty sure this way a Rivera joke..... Right??
  11. I imagine that year on the couch didn't do Christian Miller any favors. It made no sense to me to sit out for COVID concerns. The players were tested regularly and were around other people who were very quickly isolated if they did test positive. Seemed a lot safer to be around regularly tested and isolated people than it did to be around whoever the hell else it was you were around at that time, and whoever they came in contact with too. Anyways.....why do I have a strong feeling many of them sat out and now refuse to take the vaccine? This whole situation has caused everyone to lose their damn minds. Also, why does this list have "Las Vegas Raiders" as a player sitting out this year? lol
  12. Maybe somebody "stepped on his widdle foot" like Perryman
  13. Totally "complete" after adding Gronk, Brown, Fournette, and a buncha other dudes I am sure I am forgetting.
  14. Both correct, but not being vaxxed didn't do him any favors no matter how you look at it.
  15. Tell that to the massive crowds of people at NFL games now with their paper vaccination cards (and not being tested) and negative covid test results for people that aren't.
  16. It didn't help him any to not be vaccinated. His best days are behind him, but he may have saved his ass from being cut if he wasn't an unvaxxed liability (don't forget that can result in a game forfeit and Bellicheck aint having it) that was having "misunderstandings" and being a further pain in the ass.
  17. He might need to consult "Dollar Bill" on how to finance multiple minivans and families.
  18. I really hope Atlanta picks him up solely to ruin their precious little "100% vaccinated" claim
  19. Yea cuz beating the Jags, Titans, and shell of the former Colts teams (suck for Luck with Curtis Painter, Jacoby Brisket) was SOOOOOO hard
  20. I always hated how much flack he caught for this. The man is about to get KILLED! Torn ACL, broke neck, both? (Maybe major concussion, shot shoulder, and/or foot destruction years earlier than scheduled?) Either ways, you would never catch Manning or Brady diving in this situation, even more so when your entire team has sucked the whole game and diving on the ball would basically just get you injured and still give you 0% chance of winning.
  21. Colts need a QB and don't mind unvaxxed players. Swipe right?
  22. But what if I told you that was a recent pic of teh jimmy? (its not but would be insane)
  23. Speaking of... OMG THAT DUDE GOT OLD AND FAT!
