Ex-Patriots QB Says Cam Newton 'Distracted' By Rap Music
cardiackat88. replied to Greatman77's topic in Carolina Panthers
I remember Richardson saying something about tattoos, dreads, and (maybe) white women? -
I seriously thought it was a joke when I first read he had been hired back as GM after being fired a few years earlier. Besides him, has an NFL team (or any team really) ever fired their GM and then hired him back a few years later knowing exactly who he is and what he does???

I thought Brown and David Moore would be a great team like Turner and Norwell. Thought wrong apparently.

Matt Rhule's QBs troughout his coaching career
cardiackat88. replied to JABANOG's topic in Carolina Panthers
Its such a delicate position. Just think of all the 1st round washouts recently; Goff and Wentz (who I thought would have been 3rd rounders in other year) Rosen, Mariota, Paxton Lynch, Trubisky. If we go back 10 years of 1st round QBs, you may be horrified. Ponder, Manziel, Gabbert, EJ Manuel, Brandon Weeden, Jake Locker, Bortles are all first rounders. The point is, it is not easy to find the franchise QB who will over longevity. Then when you do, they are like having a wife. All of your money goes to them while you are forced to neglect positions of need in order to keep them happy. -
I have noticed he doesn't get mentioned very often. He is my candidate for absolute sleeper style.

I really think Brown will be starting at guard before the season is over, too.

Shouldn't there be a post minimum to create threads? It helped weed out clowns like this. -
I thought the defensive play calling meltdown was way worse in that game. Cousins had all day with no pass rush and PREVENT D on the field during the 4th quarter.

Yea right. A young star athlete making lots of money hardly ever attracts "good women". -
2 good reasons not to over-react to tomorrow's game

it just preseason bruh -
Or punt/kick returner? It really seems like if they put their focus into the weak spots then the strong spots would take care of itself.

We need to get him Playboy magazines like that catcher from the Major League movie.

PFFs top graded preseason rookie wideouts.

How was David Moore looking? I have had to skim through the preseason games for the most part. -
A nice gif of the first player to ever be cut by the Carolina Panthers.
-
No, he got sent to Night's Watch at the end of the series even though the entire population of White Walkers was now destroyed, posing zero threat and effectively having no purpose for a Nights Watch at all.

Teddy Bridgewater named starter over Drew Lock

Even during their "Super Bowl win" over the Panthers, Manning basically got his ass benched in the late 3rd or early 4th after Kony Ealy intercepted or almost intercepted a pass. I forget the details, thats a game I never care to remember again as long as I live. -
Funchess not playing again this year
cardiackat88. replied to Captain Morgan's topic in Carolina Panthers
Something tells me he is the kind of guy that sat out last year due to COVID concerns, but is a guy this year that absolutely refuses the vaccine. -
Before or after opening the umbrella indoors?
-
Hasn't pretty much all their free agent signings on offense and defense suffered and injury already? They can't seem to catch a break.

I was thinking about this when it was being discussed during the game. Having a touchback every time eliminates the possibility of the return team fumbling and giving up great field position and/or touchdown. Reversely, it also gives the chance for the return team to do the same. There is some crazy stat about the percentage of winning when a touchdown is scored on a special teams play, I forget what it is.
