  1. I wouldn't want to be traded either. Not this year. He's got some of best coaches in the league for a qb to learn the nfl game from and hopefully get to showcase what he's learned at some point in a full game next preseason. If he does well he and the Panthers both benefit in a trade at that point.
  2. If they get lucky in the draft, and find better depth in the next offseason, and most of all stay healthy, I could see them making some noise in the playoffs. But thats a lot of it's that have to go their way.
  3. I'm not too worried about the oline at the moment. My concern is the defense. And to some extent the offense skill players. But depth is a concern all over the roster. It's about the same as it has always been, but trending in the right direction, or at least the competency of the staff whose deciding it anyway.
  4. The term you're looking for is expendable. There's quite a few left that fit that description. They are on borrowed time.
  5. For Bill it's a 2nd. But we will consider a 3rd if he talks real nice like. Screw that bastard.
  6. Business is Business. You cannot have enough pass rushers. It's a long season a casualties happen along they way. I would talk to him to guage his interest at least.
  7. It sounds like we should be talking to him honestly. If he can hold the edge sign his ass.
  8. Ol' Bill might go after Grier.
  9. Thanks. I'm not sure I would want any of his players anyway.
  10. Does he have anyone we could trade him Corral for?
  11. The so called depth got outplayed by the two DII UDFA's. Plain and simple. Ice up son.
  12. I'm sure there's a plan for him. It might just be special teams. He might just be a placeholder for someone yet to be signed. Who knows? No worries.
  13. He also has a season of nfl playing time on Corral. Yet he was let go. Corral might a bag of stale chips but he's our stale chips. If you're going to sign someone else's mistake you better have wanted the guy in the first place. Apparently we didn't.
  14. It's not that he didn't step up but rather he got outplayed.
  15. The the reasons he wasn't signed, he doesn't want to be here and we dont need him. End of discussion.
  16. It doesn't matter if you target him, he has to want to come here. Besides, you cannot run your offense that way. You cannot tie up a chunk of cap in an aging receiver that you will have to focus your offense on. That doesn't help Youngs development at all. That's backwards thinking.
  17. Hopkins is not coming here. Get that thought out of your head. We will be drafting our guys unless it's an injury situation that forces us to. Then it will be someone you've never heard of.
  18. He's a good receiver. Nothing wrong with his play. His contract is an indication of his health concerns. We signed him thinking that he may not be available all season. I see no problem here.
