I’m assuming Rhule is gone this year and a new coach is brought in, I don’t want him handcuffed to Sam because of Rhule, a 3rd is the most I’d give up since I expect us to get a few comp picks next year with guys like donte, Gilmore etc possibly leaving. with a new coach there’s no need to waste a season trotting Sam out there again.

Yeah I stand pat and take bpa on the board instead of that craziness last draft. i’d consider next years 3rd bundled with Sam if that get us out of majority the cap hit he brings next year, and use that money to fill some other positions of need in FA(granted I haven’t taken a look) I know the above is a pipe dream but desperate times call for desperate measures

At some point hurney can’t be a scapegoat anymore, Dg step in with the pieces he left behind and got us to a super bowl. there’s not one person we should build around anyway unless it’s a qb

BC at Lt the last couple games will determine which one to go with, I would have liked to get a better sample size but Rhule made sure of that. unlike pff I did not think bc did a good job at LT but he’s been swap around so much I’m willing to give him the benefit of the doubt

Idk how anyone can look at cam and Sam performances and deem Sam better. a guy off the couch is performing as good or better than the guy we traded draft capital for, and guaranteed 19 mil bucks to when we could get that production at a fraction of the cost. one qb is pulled and sub out consistently throughout games and subbed out whenever the team forces a turnover or whenever the it’s garbage time, Rhule is tanking all our qbs value but specifically Cam by the circumstances he’s deliberating putting him in, you think I want this guy grooming a rookie qb after the last two years ? I wish the roster was so good that we are a qb away from contention but that’s grossly not the case, it’s 2020 all over again, we can either overpay for subpar qb production or we can pay cam peanuts like he’s been getting the last two seasons and fix this team then find our future, if we dick this up twice I might go full fairweather fan mode

A lot of big names but I’m not sure if these guys are still serviceable, Reed and Brandon Williams would be nice, but even then that’s not going to solve how we are lightweight at the de position, hence why teams have had so much success running on the edge against us

eric bieniemy, Jim Caldwell, Dougy P are names I’d like to see interviewed and there’s more like Kellen Moore etc that have potential in a Hc position

You can trade darnold, it’s going to be hard but it can be done, again I’m not wasting 19 mil on what I’ve seen from him. if cam is trash and has performed as well as darnold off the couch what does that make darnold, you are not helping your weird argument at all

Your reading comprehension is broken, get out your feelings, I’ve said multiple multiple times neither qb can succeed, but I’m not paying 18-19 mil for what darnold has shown when by some accounts on here the “lesser” qb has performed just as well while not being here the entire season and getting paid a fraction of what darnold will be next year. facts over feelings

Keyword might but his weakness is decision making, whether good o line play or not, Sam is a lesser Winston and coaches have been trying to fix the same issues with him since he’s been drafted ideal scenario is pray we can trade him, stop gap qb until we can draft one with better overall circumstances surrounding him and get back on track a year from now

Idk if y’all actually watch the games but no qb is doing anything with this oline, hopefully a new hc and staff find someway to dump Sam but if not him and either cam should compete for the starting spot once this line etc is fixed

Rhule and whomever is responsible for the qbs we’ve had the last two years and the horrible free agent pick ups needs to be shown the door too not to mention our top 10 pick who is playing like a fringe roster player

Def taking a break if Rhule is back next year, this team is undisciplined in every aspect
