He looks great when he's confident and gets the jitters out of his system. Once he gets confidence and comfortable, I think that will be the key to his success. He was seeing ghosts at first but I like that he slowed himself down and composed himself. He made some really get plays under pressure. That line worries me the most for sure.

I signed up for the 3 year plan. He's got one more year in my book. Unfortunately he's been making some decisions lately that are head scratchers and probably won't allot him much more honeymoon time with the fan base and more than likely Tepper himself. Remember, he CHOSE Teddy over Cam, He also CHOSE Darnold over Fields. So these decisions are going to make him or break him. Not having that QB will not help his chances.

I think this is where what Fit has been doing is essential for a good season. He's added so much Depth in this team that when it is later in the season if there is an injury or two or people are banged up, the depth will show and it will be for the better, maybe give time for those starters or people that need time to heal. This feels good to know and to have said depth.

in previous years, so much buzz about lower draft picks and people that were literally picked up off the street. Luvu, Nixon, Robinson, Shi Smith, etc. I know it's just practice but seeing and hearing these guys make noise is already a great start by Fitterer. Makes me feel good to have this guy because this means he's going to find talent in every single round or at least have a higher hit rate in each round. ..just need Darnold to be good.

I don't think this team has ever had so many weapons at once man. Top tier on all positions. WR, RB, TE (if Arnold pans out which it looks like he will). Darnold is set up to win man.

One big plus about not using any starters was also to give everyone else as many chances to prove themselves as possible. I'm sure the brass will have a better understanding as to who is going to stay and who is cut. Money's on that linemen that had back to back False starts to be cut. Or it might have been close to each other, don't remember.

From the vids I've been seeing the past hour, Omar Bayless is that hidden gem that is shining a lot tbh. Terrence Marshall Jr as well which is so satisfying because the WR corp seems to be the huge strength. Something that hasn't been true for years. Meaning Darnold is set up for success. Also makes Robby Anderson a piece that can be moved to bolster some other part of the team that needs help, like that O-line.

Kurt even said even though a lot of balls were underthrown the receivers adjusted for that and made plays. In theory Darnold will not be under throwing them. I like that he even said at the end that this is Darnold shot to show what he can actually do. He's not lying. If he sucks..well, he's out of here.
