    I think he grew up in this area and went NC State. His previous roles were only with the cards. I assume he came back for family. I guess this role wasn’t a fit. I hope things work out for Wilson regardless of the scenario.

    The team has to give Bryce a fair shake but I can’t help but already be looking in to 2025.

    I feel uneasy with a kicker who’s feeling undervalued, I feel like that brings in a whole new kind of mind goblin that could plague his game. Also he is def not worth it. I can’t think of many who would be. He’d need a huge leg and accuracy, I don’t think he’s done anything from 55 plus

    At the minimum the city should have a stake in the team or guarantees the team can never move. It’s not really an “investment” of money without that.

    Yeah before the elections most of the council members said they would give money to build a new stadium. The observer and other journalists usually ask them boilerplate questions like that to all of them. Only one person I liked said they would vote no. So it was pretty much settled even before the election.

    I don’t think you could judge anyone based on a single meeting. Some jerks are very charming and some nice folks might come across as cantankerous or stuck up.

    Yeah I don’t have any patience for PR for rich guys. When you have accumulated that much you have an obligation to give back.

    Feels like the team hasn’t bottomed out yet and we’re years from competing. The Young trade is devastating. If we’re lucky the team will draft well but it’ll take years. i try to be optimistic but it seems guaranteed that Young is going to suck again. How many rookie QBs with terrible seasons turn it around?

    The only year I remember feeling good about the team but we sucked was 2006. Every terrible year the team has looked terrible in the preseason too.

    I don’t feel like many QBs put it together after having a terrible rookie season like Young’s was. The team just has to support him so they can dump him and be ready for the next QB. I’d love for him to work out but this rarely happens.

    I’d love to go corporate again but when it’s combined with bad people it sucks so bad.

    Either way you have to support Bryce. Build up the team so you can see if he can improve or you have a better team for the next guy.

    Getting JPJ would be incredible. I hope they pick up O-line but as long as they stick with offense you can’t go wrong. They just need to support Young.

    I like trading down but not to draft players you need. I’d rather see them trade down to assemble picks for the future.

    It’s probably dumb but I think BPA is a mistake. Support your QB or bust. Don’t leave room for excuses. Draft for need and keep your QB upright, give him playmakers.

    Until you see the pieces work together I have to feel they’ll be just as bad or worse than last year. Looking forward to them being much better.

    Yeah this team has 1 more year to prove if Young is a bust or not. Need to keep him clean and give him weapons.

    I mean just look at South End and Noda Development vs 1st Ward. im willing to pay for a stadium if the city owns it and largely benefits from it. Also if it dictates if the owner can move the team or not. It never feels worth it.
