  1. Darnold or a rookie QB might fail, our OC is probably gone next season so maybe it’s easier to invest and build the defense next season. It’s not like we won’t have the option to trade up next season if we do a little better.
  2. This kept happening to me every time I did a mock draft. I kept drafting Horn and Samuel Jr, then I really loved Jordan Smith or Nick Bolton in the 3rd. Around the 4th you could try to nab Devine Deablo or this safety from LSU as Kam Chancellor type. Maybe Monty Rice in the 5th? The small safety from TCU? He seems like a beast. I think Spencer Brown or one of the centers could be a good pick in the 2nd
  3. I’m glad that we only have to worry about trading down to the 2nd vs almost trading a future #1 overall for Jimmy Clausen ever again
  4. Can’t Rhule out another defensive pick, honestly I’m all about it.
  5. Richie Grant Asante Samuel Jr That small school center that impressed at the Sr Bowl that offensive tackle from northern Iowa Honestly hope we draft heavy on defense again lol, I just want a part of the team to be strong and reliable. I want a cohesive unit.
  6. It was elite enough to shut out the Lions! But they were throwing the game to nab Sewell probably
  7. I would think they tried considering the clock ticked down that far
  8. Which is pretty wild, Davis looked lost on a better defense in his first game.
  9. Devine Deablo is physically impressive safety who impressed in the senior bowl so I can see us being all of him in the later rounds etc. There’s a CB from Boise State that is a legit returner. a 6’4” CB/Safety from USC Israel Mukuamu the CB from app state
  10. I don’t even think we like Darnold that much, we’re just in an awkward state. We’re a year away and an 8-8 team regardless of what happens. Better to keep acquiring talent than to take shot on a QB.
  11. One thing I don’t like is how our OC is projected to leave for a HC job next season. So where does that leave Darnold again?
  12. I like Jordan Smith in the bottom of the 3rd if we end up having a pick around there
  13. Yeah I’d rather go after the natural LTs and keep Moton at RT unless they think he can really succeed over there.
  14. Wouldnt be mad this at all. I’ve drank the koolaide this year on the top CBs and O line so I really hope we come away with some top talent there. I think Jenkins will end up being RT or guard only, and I base that on absolutely nothing
  15. Trading down to the bottom of the 1st seems really appealing, we could really load up on OT or CB this way. I’d love to see us double dip for immediate improvement like they did in 2013 with Star/KK
  16. Still playing around with what a major trade down would look like. Used PFN sim, traded for the Ravens 1st rounders and a future, 2nd rounder used 2nd and future 2nd to trade with jags. 27. Samuel Cosmi OT Texas 31. Creed Humphrey OC Oklahoma 33. Kelvin Joseph CB Kentucky 73. Jordan Smith EDGE UAB 113. D'Ante Smith OT East Carolina 151. Divine Deablo S Virginia Tech 193. Shemar Jean-Charles CB Appalachian State 222. Israel Mukuamu S South Carolina
  17. I think it’s pretty likely, I feel like the senior bowl standouts are almost like the “2nd visit” category from the Gettleman years.
  18. If we drafted a tackle at 8 I honestly wouldn’t mind trading back into the first(using current picks) for some of the last top tier CBs or o line
  19. I went on the PFN draft sim and traded down as much as possible, took whatever the CPU offered. 57. Liam Eichenberg OT Notre Dame 67. Josh Myers OC Ohio State 93. Jackson Carman OT Clemson 96. Jordan Smith EDGE UAB 113. Ar'Darius Washington S TCU 124. Tyler Shelvin DT LSU 141. Michael Menet OC Penn State 160. Israel Mukuamu S South Carolina Picks received next year: 2022 PIT 2nd 2022 NE 2nd 2022 HOU 2nd 2022 BUF 2nd 2022 HOU 3rd 2022 ARI 3rd 2022 WAS 3rd 2022 ARI 4th
  20. Real happy with this one. This is the “Darnold Support” draft.
  21. What if we gave up 5 1st founders for Watson before the sexual assault stuff came out,
  22. It’ll be cool to see if Darnold can revive his career. I’m also glad we didn’t sell the farm for a rookie or Watson.
