Anyone ever have a friends with benefits relationship with an ex?

Twice. For me atleast both turned complicated after awhile. For the start it's fun cause obviously you are still getting laid but feelings remain for the one of the persons involved and then it becomes a poo show. Avoid at all costs. Better to just cut your losses now and move on

Yea I know it can get really ugly but it's hard to cut someone off cold turkey when you were with them for almost 3 years like I was with my ex.  We just have a lot of mutual friends and see each other by accident sometimes.  Hard to get away from her and not have old feelings surface.

Which is exactly why you need to cut it off. If you guys keep screwing around but aren't exclusive you have the chance of running into her with another guy. Better to just cut ties and have a fresh start then holding yourself back. You guys broke up for a reason.

Friends with benefits with an ex leads to more pain for the one that didn't want it to end in the first place.  Unless the one that didn't want it to end in the first place finds another person that they chose to exclusive with and ends the FWB themselvs.  Still can end up hurting someone.

It all depends on how the split happened. Did the FWB with an ex after we broke up. We had a good time because we knew we didn't work in a relationship but we did in the sack and were ok with it. It was just fun times for a while but eventually it ended when we both moved on and started dating other people.

Personal experiences:

1:  She ended relationship.  We became FWB shortly afterwards.  I found someone else.  She was hurt.

2.  She ended relationship.  We became FWB year later.  She ended it.  I was hurt.

3.  I ended the relationship.  We became FWB.  I ended FWB.  She was hurt.

4.  I ended the relationship.  We became FWB.  We got back together.  We're married.

    • I had everything saved on an old email address and my computer crashed and could not be revived.  I tried reviving it, then stumbled on one I was going to create several years ago...So I am using it instead.  My fault--did not keep the email and forgot password--
    • Rasheed Walker for Kris Jenkins Jr.is what i am actually referring to in that particular post  all those #'s you are referring to are athletic #'s & Monroe Freeling had or has an impressive combination of size & raw athletiscm & it has nothing do with his size or athelticsm that is preventing him from being a day 1 starter in the NFL technique is where he struggled at the NFL combine & not only scouts but analysts alike also viewed him as more of a developmental type of player rather than a day 1 starter  go take a look at Will Campbell transition from the SEC to the NFL another first round LT that was drafted #4 overall by the New England Patriot,s.Will Campbell was a three year starter at  LSU & was thought to be one of if not the very best LT's in the SEC  & compare his SEC carrer to his rookie season in the NFL? just because you played good in the SEC at LT does nescarrily mean you are ready to start at LT in the NFL day 1 & or your rookie season  & one last thing i think you are jumping to conclusion & somehow assuming that i do not like Monroe Freeling ?which could not be further from the truth .what i do not like is the idea starting a player who is not ready ...just saying
