I still think taking a tackle would be an ideal choice for our first pick, but I'm getting a gut feeling we're not going to be taking a WR or OT.  I think we're going to take which ever top 15 player that falls and there is always one or two that do, and right now that player looks to be Kony Ealy.

Good mock and I'd be thrilled with our pick at 28. Lee is a very good player that people are overlooking because of the letters on his jersey and his injuries last year. Frankly, I think we need more guys like Lee on this team:

It began Sept.28, when the Trojans lost 62-41 to Arizona State — an embarrassing defeat that set the stage for coach Lane Kiffin's firing the next day — and Lee suffered a Grade 2 sprain of the medial collateral ligament in his left knee during a punt return.

He sat out the next game, returned Oct.19 at Notre Dame and tweaked the knee again. He had several key catches in a 20-17 upset of fourth-ranked Stanford on Nov. 16 that helped USC salvage its season but didn't feel completely healthy until the Las Vegas Bowl a month later.

"As a player, you're not going to sit out and watch your team grind and get after it while you're standing on the sideline," Lee said. "I'm not that type of person. I'm looking for nobody to say, 'Well, he's a tough guy. He's trying to come back.' No, it's for me. I wanted to come back."

    • How about 2 legit good games in a row? I still think his post season benching is romanticized and overstated…. I mean his turnaround was amazing.  But that had more to do with how bad he was than how good he actually became.
    • BY needs to be more consistent and continue to make big plays in big moments. Like take over a couple of series a game, particularly at the end. If he can't become that, then they should be looking for his replacement.  You can not blame a QB for losses with the worst oline/receiver/coaching combination this team has ever had - in his rookie season at that. And then a below average receiving group to go with the worst defense in NFL history his second season. I don't understand. QBs aren't one man teams. It takes a team to win games. 11 on offense, 11 on defense, 11 on special teams, an OC, a DC and a HC. Let's have more than one play of 25+ yards of YAC in a season before condemning the QB for not breaking 300 yards passing a game. Perfectly acceptable to have high expectations but let's not be completely unrealistic.
    • He’s not a safety in reality. Doesn’t do anything besides ST, but is very good at that. With how awful we’ve been there past few years just find room for him somewhere and do it
