An interesting factoid: This is who the Rams got for the picks Washington gave up for RG3

2012 1st round (14th pick) - DT Michael Brockers (starter, impact player)

2012 2nd round (7th pick) - CB Janoris Jenkins (starter, impact player)

2012 2nd round (18th pick) - RB Isaiah Pead (back-up, no impact)

2012 5th round (15th pick) - G Rokevious Watkins (released, no impact)

2013 1st round (30th pick) - LB Alec Ogletree (starter, impact player)

2013 3rd round (30th pick) - WR Steadman Bailey (back-up, small impact)

2013 5th round (27th pick) - RB Zac Stacy (starter, impact player)

2014 1st round (2nd pick) - OT Greg Robinson (slotted starter, likely impact player)

Pretty good haul by St. Louis.

I wonder how much better Washington would be with the players above along with Kirk Cousins than what they have now?

Rams made out well, I almost thought they'd be able to trade out of this pick as well. Imagine last night if they had moved down against, and once again doubled/tripled their first round picks.  All in all, they are building a great team down there, but wont' be anything until they replace Bradford.

Rams are stacked with talent but it all goes to show you - if your QB isn't performing, the rest of your team doesn't matter.  See: Houston.  Stacked with talent at almost every position but no QB = 2-14.

Washington made the playoffs and RGIII was rookie of the year. The Rams will not make the playoffs again this year on account of 49ers, Cardinals...oh and the SB Champs Seahawks.

Cousins was exposed down the stretch last season and has never looked like a franchise QB.

Washington made out just fine.

More trivia: both the jaguars and the Vikings picked QBs in the first round, two teams that picked QBs in the first round in 2011

Follows the tried and true mantra that picking a bust at QB sets your team back 3 years.  Panthers really got the pick of the litter with Cam.  We are very fortunate as Panther fans.
