i kind of feel like ealy will bust, seriously his workouts, combine, and tape don't come out that great. several analysts didn't like him at all as a first rounder, some had him projected to only top 90. he likes to take games off, get lazy.

We're not in win now mode but I think drafting for the future is somewhat dumb on a team that was 12-4. Drafting for 2015=another year of Cam's prime gone if we can't protect him or generate a running game.

Can't argue with Konys value, but think Moses would have been a similar value at the end of the second IMO

Ealy has potential, I will say that I do see what some of the trolls see... his motor sometimes gives out. However, he has great intangibles (size), a go to move (great swim move), and defensive end skills (decent strength and good acceleration). Greg Hardy and Charles Johnson are going to make sure that this kid reaches his potential.

Trai Turner is a stud and will be the best guard in this draft and a top 10 guard in this league if he puts it all together. He's a great run-blocker and creates great cutback lanes in case the running back changes directions (which D-Will does). Turner is also very mobile and is capable of getting out and being the lead blocker. He could use some work on pulling but Silatolu (who is a zen-master at the guard pull) will definitely help him there. His pass blocking needs a little work, but if he can get his lateral quickness down, no one is going to get past this guy because once engaged... you're not moving.

Turner and Ealy both could've been first round picks next year had they returned to school... Probably would've been, but said could've baring injury......

So, hypothetically, we've got three 1st round talents.....

So you're going to offer him 20 million per season..

That's why you're no longer a GM.

Two excellent value picks, one meets an immediate need and one meets a potential need for 2015.  The only downside is that I don't expect Ealy to make much of an impact right away, but he's already a HUGE upgrade over Alexander.  I'm pretty excited.
