Big time talent potential at WR

A first round talent DE in the 2nd

A bulldozer G to help beef up the interior of the line

That right there makes our draft a success IMO

Our DLine is going to freaking disgusting. CJ. Hardy. Star. KK. Ealy. Cole. And the rotational DE's. Yes yes yes yes!!

Agreed, Benjamin alone can make a world of difference on the offense, along with the new additions, and settling of the offense line.

And the defensive improvements are self explanatory as well.

And I'm sure Gettleman is not finished with any free agent moves in the future.

If he does see the field it will be very limited. People that think CJ and Hardy are now suddenly endangered species because of a 2nd round unproven rookie are delusional.

If you think Kony won't be used on passing downs to keep Star's snap count down you're fooling yourself. Third downs will be Kraken, Kony, KK and Big Money.

You know what id love to see. Is to see a comparison of teams that draft on need and teams that go BPA and just see which team has more success, go back the last five seasons and compare. I think someone brought up that the Ravens and Steelers always draft need over BPA and despite bumpy past season, both have been consistent contenders

Seattle has been Drafting BPA for 2-3 years now. Seems to have worked out alright...

everybody stating the ealy pick was DG getting ready for the departure of Hardy or Cj are delusional..........if that's the case who did we draft to take gross place last year or this year?????

I think that's part of the reason he did it but I think the main reason he did it was to form a similar D-line to the Giant Super Bowl teams where you have 3 legit DEs that just keep coming at you.

I was angry last season when we cut Hangartner a week or so before the season or whenever it was.  This year I'm not so angry, YET.  There are still plenty of ways to get better and that includes June 1st cuts and preseason cuts.  Adding a solid vet or two is probably what Gettlemen is thinking at this point.

Now if we go into the season in the same situation as we have today then yes I will be upset as well.  But just like Gettlemen signing Wharton right before the season I think we will add to the offensive line before the start of the season.

Wharton was original signed as a backup, didn't start a game till Amini went down with his Injury.

If somebody were to ask the huddle pre-draft if they would be ok drafting just 1 WR, 1 CB, 1 OG, and 0 OTS with none of our draft picks being viable options in the return game, I think 98% would have scoffed. Now that its happened it's somehow ok. This was a terrible draft, imo.

there wasn't a tackle available that would get started over bell and chandler.
