Marc James' last day at Wfnz today!

Bring back Mark Packer and his show. It was 10 times better than anything the Drive has been since.

Please don't. I didn't like James either, but Pack's show was pretty much Duke-UNC basketball for 6 months and Clemson-South Carolina football for the other 6. At least the Drive talks Panthers and Bobcats when they are in season.

Really, CPI Security? Director of what? I might need to set up a sales call.

He just got hired, and my friend that works in the Raleigh/Durham area sent me a pic and hes one of the new hires.  Not sure, it just says director, might be sales.  My boy says hes probably makes around 50-75 thou.  Whatever position that makes.

Gross had ties with CPI from his kickball tourney.

You guys might not like it but I think Colin Hoggard has a shot. He's been getting more and more air time filling in and weekend shows. I like Colin but I like him in his current role. Can't begrudge a man for moving up the ladder though.

Another Marc gripe...when he interviews people. He gives long questions, I mean LONG, that result in short answers. Dan Patrick is one of the bet interviewers in sports and he asks short questions and lets the guest tell the story. I'd be remiss if I didn't mention how much I hate it when Marc says "I'd be remiss".

    • I mean I think its a bit disingenuous to call basically anyone here a casual fan. I don't think the casual fan creates a profile then logs into it, in the offseason, to comments on mundane offseason topics.. I dont think anyone on here would be considered a casual fan. That said, I get your point. My POV is from the player. They sign this contract, move their family because of these contracts. When Clowney came him, we basically had a coming home party for him.  So yeah, I get why we did it and I know that ultimately the owner doesnt 'save' money, but I can feel for the human side of the player, which is why I want them to get all they can while they can.
    • My guess is the NBA will either send Flagg back “home” to the Northeast in Brooklyn or Washington, or San Antonio so that they can keep building around Wemby. If I was a betting man I would take the odds on the Spurs. This definitely feels like a #1 pick that they will rig.
    • In fairness, she is ensuring she is talked about.  People really aren’t going out there way to bring her up.  It’s some weird poo.  She would end up getting talked about given her actions if she was 40. Bill realizing some of these high end “companions” got a game of their own.  That’s what I don’t think Bill saw coming.
