Hardy 911 call

Lets not forget that there is another tape from a neighbor that called the police who said she saw and heard a woman being abused.  Don't know where that one is...

I guess it is possible that she saw Hardy's "manager" restraining her and thought that was abuse but who knows at this point.

I'm banking on this from that call...

Yeah in the case of domestic violence cases everytime I have ever seen the police come the guy was arrested. Doesn't matter who was at fault. They will 9 times out of 10 take the guy to jail for the night.

Which is so fuging stupid. I hate how women say they are discriminated against when poo like this happens and studies are done showing people are more compassionate towards women and all that. People are more sexist towards guys then they are girls

These tapes are meaningless.

The only third-party witness says Hardy was beating her. That strongly favors his girlfriend. But she could have been misinterpreting what she was seeing and hearing.

And the only tape from between the two involved was from Hardy who sure sounds like it's her fault. But guys preemptively calling 911 *just like this* happens all the time too.

Hardy wasn't scared of the chick... He saw those dollar signs going down the drain

Looks like Hardy is only guilty of associating with the wrong people. Panthers aren't gonna wanna give him a big contract if he can't grow up and keep a better crowd. What the hell is he out partying at 4am on Tuesday anyway. You're not a 21 year old college student Greg, time to grow up.

Exactly. Greg hardy could easily kill someone if he was beating them as hard as he could. This obviously wasn't the case and is bs

i'm sure there's still lots of juicy details to come out. i wouldn't exonerate Hardy just yet. but it's clear this is a complicated situation that will require professionals to unravel.

There is a 2nd 911 call that's tells a totally different version. poo is crazy

    • He was saying Ron hid when he was cut/traded whatever that was.  I get being resentful, and feeling like that was gutless.  He, and Ron, neither are from the ‘breaking up with someone in a text or email is okay’ generation. That avoidance is seen as a lack of character.  Talking about it on camera how many years later? Why? And it is all one sided he said she said stuff. As he is speaking I am thinking well I bet that ain’t the whole story.    Between this type of stuff and him cheating on the wife stuff some of his shine is wearing off.
    • I was very critical of Ron Rivera as a coach for a range of reasons. But Steve Smith has been playing the victim for years now and it's just not working anymore. We know for a fact that he was disgruntled from the moment we drafted Cam Newton because of his own ego. That says more about him than anything he could say about Rivera. And yes Ron Rivera had a lot of faults. No excuses for it. We were right to move on from him. But ultimately Steve Smith couldn't hold it together with that group the same as he struggled to hold it together under previous regimes. He needs to grow up and accept his own role in the last few years of his Panthers career because there are things he could and should have done differently the same as anyone else. Stop seeking to only shift blame to everyone else and evolve or just stop talking and fade away. This isn't helping anyone and it is certainly not helping his image.
    • A friend of mine was involved in building Steve Smith's house and nearly came to blows with him during the process.  Love Smitty as a player, but I've heard very little good about him as a human being.
