yes they did get better, but they were so bad.  Losing Gonzo and Weatherspoon is large, very large.

 

frankly, I see them last in the division.  Bucs have gotten a lot of talent, and I think the new coach will

put it all together....for a third place finish.

It's just hard to say how things will turn out. The league is big on quarterback play and we have one of the best along with a top flight defense. I just hope our line can open some holes for our run game and keep our quarterback upright in the passing game. If that happens watch out!

I hope we pick up some tackle help from one of the other loaded teams cuts.

While that's true, the Falcons didn't have any sort of pass blocking or pass rush, the two most vital parts of a football team. That changed some this year, but, I still don't think it's going to propel them into the "elite". Their window snapped shut last year.

I'm a recovering Smitty fan boy and even I can see that the receivers are better.

Gross what's great but he's only one man in a team sport.

Our Defense is better than it was last year without question.

Cam is entering year 4.

It wasn't offense that killed them but defense.  They scored 21 but gave up almost 28.

That hasn't really improved so they will be like New Orleans when they had a great offense and sucky defense.  Usually gives you 8-8.at best.  Unless they outscore folks they won't be stopping them.
