The fight in the gym isn't even the main issue here. It's that PJ CONTINUES to be an idiot and find himself in trouble.

And please, do tell how people over-exaggerate on what happened with PJ in the past. If anything else, his continued trouble, despite how serious or not in your eyes, shows his stupidity and lack of maturity. Like last 4th of July weekend after he was initially caught/pulled over by police with the weed and gun which led to his UNC scandal...he gets a speeding ticket, in another car that wasn't his. Then he seemingly wasn't so honest with the NCAA/Roy because his initial 10 game suspension, turned into UNC not seeking reinstatement. Now, after doing work in the D-League, seemingly changed and drafted...he's fighting at the Durham YMCA and Josh Gordon is getting arrested in PJ's car for a DWI. Did I mention his consistent involvement with Fats Thomas throughout all of this, the convicted felon? But hey, PJ is just a kid making some bad choices, and fans are "incredibly over-exaggerating" what's happened.

In your long post, the only time he has ever gotten in actual trouble was being in a car with weed in it.

That's really it.

No, chumps walk away. I'm pretty sure you've never played pick up basketball in the city. Meaning you should not be involved in this discussion.

This has probably been brought up too so ignore if it has, but I just read that the car Josh Gordon got his DUI in was registered to PJ. Fats bailed him out. When PJ did the media rounds after being drafted, without being asked in detail he vowed to refrain from detrimental company..

Maybe he doesn't view Fats as a detriment? I have friends that a lot of people think are assholes, but I don't agree with them. Maybe PJ and Fats are bro's and PJ doesn't think his felonies and behavior are an issue.

You're right.  Maybe he doesn't.  All assumption aside, Fats has been a leech with athletes in the UNC program.  My guess is PJ, blinded with loyalty and caught up in an accelerated conflict with some high school jackass, will be summoned to MJ's office for a few words.

      Yeah. That start to his career was about as bad as it can get. In New York, Meat grinder press corps, of the first degree,    When he came here he was on OC 3 - in year 3.  And people in this fan base that think they are smart, could not take that stuff into account.  Now, most of the smart ones are not Bryce Stans but Bryce gets 4 damned years free pass. At least 3  The fail of the organization AND fan base in general, fuging shamefully short sighted,  And the choking thing, players have to fail before they succeed. With very few exceptions. Last year was really his first meaningful, high stakes game. Okay, he didn’t play well. They learn from that, or are supposed to. You don’t throw out a guy with all those tools and with his rocky did him no favors background for not being perfect right away.  He might suck in the SB, but he proved a ton this year.    If we’d have had any patience he was the guy to use it on, not Bryce Young.

      Darnolds OC when he was drafted was Jeremy Bates who was fired. He hasn’t had an nfl job since then. his next head coach was Adam gates who was fired after two years and isn’t in the league anymore. then he gets traded to the Matt Rhule panthers. His first OC was a hired WAY too early Joe Brady who was fired midseason and basically had to restart his career as a get back coach in Buffalo. then it was Jeff Nixon, who’s currently the head coach for Syracuse. the next season was the best he’d ever looked, and it was the first time he had an actual nfl offensive coordinator calling plays for him. The less said about Matt Rhule the better. then he sits a year and ends up in Minnesota and the rest is history. maybe he just had poo awful coaches for the start of his career. Maybe we should be trying to find someone who flamed out on the jets. one who’s a religious weirdo  and likes to bang married women  that’s right baby, Zach Wilson redemption tour starts now

      Your last paragraph, painful. We suffered it all with Rhule and Fitterer and were rewarded with Bryce.  I’ll stop there, I have made hundreds of posts that say what I would say if I continued. 😂
