Will "This Is Gross" return?

Week after week I really looked forward to the next episode of This Is Gross and now that Jordan has retired I wonder if it will be brought back. I thought I heard that Jordan will be involved in the team in some way and I was wondering if anyone had heard anything.

For you new members "This Is Gross" was a weekly podcast run by left tackle Jordan Gross that started at last year's training camp and went on throughout the season. In these pod casts Jordan would pick a member of the team to "interview" and basically shoot the poo with for about 20 minutes. They were highly entertaining and gave you an in depth look at your favorite players on the team. Players including Cam Newton, Luke Kuechly, Mike Tolbert and even Coach Ron Rivera had their own episode.

I really hope it's brought back in some capacity because it really was a great idea and I personally would love to hear from Kelvin, Harper, Decoud and other F/As that were brought in. Below I'll include a link to the episodes in case you have never seen them before or just wish to listen to them again. They are worth the time.

It's supposed to be a TV show, as part of the TWC deal.

Source?

Oh I found it! Thanks man!

Tuesdays will feature "Panthers Roundtable," where journalists debate topics involving the team, and Wednesdays will feature "Panthers Game Plan," an update show complete with press conference highlights. Former Panthers tackle Jordan Gross will share his unique perspective on "This Is Gross" on Thursdays, while play-by-play announcer Mick Mixon will set the stage for the upcoming game each Friday on "Inside Panthers Football."

I'll be looking forward to it and it'll still be unique, but it's not going to be quite the same now that he's not playing for us though, especially with the new players after he's left.  Part of what made it special was he was one of the guys that was out there in the trenches with them and bonding with them throughout the dog days of OTAs and training camp, where a large portion of the talking points came from.

No more "Hahaha, remember that time when ______ did _____" moments with guys like Kelvin, Kony, J-Co, Avant, and others.  Although a Decoud or Harper one should be interesting in its own right.

    • I originally hated the Miller deal but with the cap projected to rise nearly $10M next season the Canes struck some pretty good deals between Miller and Ehlers. Most of the team is locked in for the next few years. Nikishin will need an extension probably in the $6M AAV range. And Blake will need one if we don’t move him. Personally I’d move Blake, picks, and any prospect not named Nikishin/Nadeau/Artamonov for McTavish as I don’t see any any of the big time players moving teams next year. Realistically the Hurricanes should just target Gustavsson next year to fix the goal tending issue. But I’m all for moving Blake, picks, and prospects for McTavish this year. Ehlers - Aho - Jarvis Svechnikov - McTavish - Stankoven Martinook - Staal - Carrier Hall - Kotkaniemi - Robinson Jost - Jankowski Slavin - Miller Nikishin - Chatfield Gostisbehere - Walker Reilly Andersen Kochetkov I’d do Blake, Felix-Unger-Sorum, and 27 2nd for McTavish.
    • Very true on the length but stuff like this is never where we shine. We aren’t a good team at drafting.
    • Homerism aside, the more I see from Dan, the more impressed I am.  His player evaluation instincts. Last year his 2 premier FA signings, Hunt and Lewis COMPLETELY changed the line and I have a feeling his success in choosing blue chip guys will continue.  Look at the panthers’s rep for FA signings in the past. By and large, it’s been guys 1 year past their prime who had an injury and suckered our GM in to a crippling contract. We never get nice things. When was the last time this team signed 2 young blue chip studs  in the same offseason to contracts worthy of their impact? Ever?  Im telling y’all, players respect and trust Morgan.
