the only real weakness i have heard about is punt return bc we don't really have anyone who can come close to what ginn did. we are essentially back to having scrubs return punts, but the rest of the team looks good.

 

That is one of my top concerns right now.

 

Ginn may not have been the best returner in the league, but he was an extra spark that more than a few times helped put our offense in a very favorable position when we needed it. That was a factor in helping push us to 12 wins, we need that. I hope Gettleman is looking.

The top 5 receivers benjamin, cotchery, avant, bersin, king have all been pretty consistent especially benjamin. They have been making plays and so have the TE's.

Reports I have read have said Cam and Cotchery have struggled somewhat

I have my fantasy draft tonight. Keepers League. I'm keeping Cam, Megatron, and AP. Next pick will be Kelvin Benjamin, I don't even care. Straight homer!

 

I understand trying to guarantee that you'll get KB, but picking him in the 4th round is just plain stupid. He'll be there in the 8th or 9th and you can get him then. ADP is like 12th round so I doubt anyone picks him before then. Maybe go 8th or 9th to be safe, but 4th is stupid.

Exactly! Ginn may not have taken every kick to the house, but his speed alone gave us a huge boost in avg/yds per return. Huge help to the offense.

I really hope Marcus Lucas makes the team. I think he, Benjamin, and Bersin have shown this camp that Cam needs big receivers to throw to 

 

All QB's love throwing to big receivers.

 

Cam's no different.

 

Hell, he threw to a midget--as his lead receiver for three years--reviving that guys career, while having great success with two TE sets.

wow and i thought Benji didnt have speed... or at least thats what the media said.

 

Anyone who said Benjamin doesn't have speed is clueless. 

 

His "takeoff" speed (first 10 yards) was slow, but his last 30 yards were faster than most receivers at the combine. In other words, once he gets going, he's very fast. 

 

Being a taller receiver, that's all that matters, because he doesn't need to blow by defenders in the first five yards to still have the advantage over the full route.

Is it? I mean really, is it? His production and impact will be immediate. As good as, if not better than the WRs left on the board at that point. I'll take my chances. It was probably dumb if me to have picked Cam in the first rnd of his rookie season, but we all know how that worked out. No risk= no reward. I'm going for it
