Thinking about buying a new car

My mother in law just got one. Amazing car but my wife wants 3 rows of seats.

I think we'll get MDX. I want Q7 but wifey wants Asian brand.

As big of a fan as I am of Audi....which is big...

The MDX is the choice not only for quality and performance, but also for overall cost if ownership.

Much more affordable to maintain.

We recently got a '14 MDX with AWD and Tech package.  If you are looking for a new MDX, check around a few dealerships to see if a 2014 in the color and options happens to be available.  We ended up buying in Greensboro since it was not available in Charlotte.  You can get a '14 at or below invoice whereas they won't budge much on the 15's as of yet.  There is literally no difference (other than the VIN stamp) in the 14's and 15's MDX's.

We love ours and researched the same vehicles you are.  I would hold off on the Volvo for now as they are doing a complete redesign on the XC90 that should be available next year.

Just found up that MDX is doing complete redesign as well on 2016.

    • Yeah, honestly being a long-term backup is at least as much about being a good lockerroom presence and accepting your role as a supporting piece and not being a greasy wheel as much as it does about ability. Backup QB requires a completely different mindset than the starter and some guys just can't make that switch. It doesn't make them bad guys or locker room cancers or anything like that, it just makes them not what you're looking for in a long-term backup. You bring in that type of guy to compete. You don't bring in that type of guy if you're not looking for competition.
    • Im saying its Tar Heel fans who would do that. I root for all Panthers to succeed regardless but college affiliation means zero to me
    • We have some good pieces.  Enough to be competitive week to week.  Coaching seems to be improving but they’ve made it much harder on themselves than needed.  There are very good reasons to be optimistic about the future. However, I don’t trust them yet.  Wins are odd looking and mostly ugly.  Our opponents have to have a bad day for us to hang with them.  A lot of that is because we still haven’t figured out the most important position and will continue until it’s solved. I think Morgan has done a nice job in both the draft and FA so far.  He’s getting better each day he’s in that position. As far as the players listed, I’m pretty much in agreement.  XL and Bryce are not performing the way they should at this point.  I will say XL could see more success in a vertical passing attack to better utilize his speed. And as always, Fug Tepper.
