Panthers release first official depth chart

Basically our 4 WRs go:

 

1: Cotchery

2: Benji

3/Slot: Avant

4/Red Zone: Bersin.

 

I am ok with that.  Where they lack in speed they make up for in size.

Things I notice...

 

Bell at left tackle, for now.  Not buying that as a lasting situation.

 

Brenton Bersin is ahead of Tiquan Underwood.

 

Kelvin Benjamin penciled in as a starter right away.

 

Richie Brockel 4th at TE behind Dickson and Williams.

 

Colin Cole still listed as starting at DT.  I think Kawann Short takes that over by the time the season starts.

 

Kony Ealy is third string behind Mario Addison.

 

A J Klein also not starting now, but I think he will.

 

I expect some shuffling at the DB spots, but not the starters.  I think those stick.

so has no one mentioned that depth charts on the website at this point are put together by the PR guys and not the coaching staff? at least at this point anyway.

 

they have to have something on the website so they best guessing it. don't read too much into it.
