Tony Stewart could be in big trouble....Police investigating incident.

It looks like the fatboy finally let his temper get the best of him - a lot of people that were at the track, and some of the NASCAR writers, etc seem to think Stewart knew exactly what he was doing when he did it. Stewart's "business as usual" today before he was pulled from the race was most def a PR spin from his people. This could be a huge a story in the coming days, and I expect any skeletons hanging in his closet to be revealed. Anyone who follows the sport knows Stewart is a hot head and an ass.

I'm sure he'll just make a public apology and make a sizeable donation and it's like this whole thing never happened. Sickening.

Can you post some of these writers that suggest he knew exactly what he was doing?

dude nothing I've seen or read from a reputable source says it was nothing more then a kid getting hit after running out on a race track.

I don't understand what tony did to make you hate him so much to dream all that up but come on lets be realistic.

And for the record I've never watched a single race in my life, don't care about nascar, I'm just interested because it's a big story

Stewart employs my favorite driver - Kevin Harvick. So you are completely off base with your unfair assessment. The kid did run onto a race track like a dumbass though and that part is undisputable.

let's put a bunch of competitors in 200 mph death machines, have then drive in circles for a few hours and see what happens. Totally comparable to the NFL. Give yourself a hand for that one.

Yea your right kid... Nascar didn't have to pay millions to former driver's because they are beaten and broken, but the NFL did. Former Nascar drivers arent hobbling around using walker and canes because their sport left them so fugged up. Nascar drivers don't have a history of committing suicide because multiple conconsions have left them fuged mentally like alot former NFL players do.

Great logic Dex....

youre still dreaming a lot of bs up, all official reports say it's a pure accident nothing more, heck the sheriffs office went way out of their way to stress that.

Nope, Tony Stewart is a hot head. He woke up that morning thinking, 'I'm going to kill someone today'. It's all over his Twitter before he deleted it. My friend's inbred cousin saw it printed out on their dot matrix printer.

you can find them for yourself. Deadspin has a nice little blog about it up right now. The main, big time NASCAR writers like Marty Smith are not going to make accusations or be too opinionated on the matter other than just reporting what they saw.

the kid running onto the track like a moron is going to work in fatboys favor though and is what will more than likely save Stewart from any serious charges or jailtime. I also expect a full on assault on Stewart's character from the mainstream and secondary media in the next couple of days. If he's got any loose ends hanging around he may want to try and get those cleaned up ASAP.

Honestly, I could see "no charges" after an investigation followed by a big time settlement to the victim's family out of court. Tony Stewart has a lot of money.

Stewart is a hot head and is probably one of the first images to come to mind when you think of a nascar fight. You've already said you don't follow nascar and you don't know anything about it. There are reports that the kid and stewart had been jawing at each other all day.

So basically you made up "a lot of people that were at the track, and some of the NASCAR writers, etc seem to think Stewart knew exactly what he was doing when he did it" based on a deadspin blog?

im just looking for hard evidence not conjecture there is a huge difference. Anyone can say anything and unfortunately perception is not reality.

Unfortunate incident, and totally avoidable.

That's the worst part.

Yeah - the kid getting out of his car and running onto a race track was a bad idea. But we've seen drivers (like TS) swerve their cars towards another driver who has exited his car in a confrontational manner only to swerve away again at the last minute. I'm not saying this is what happened but Stewart is a documented asshole and no stranger to having drivers exit their vehicles and point at him.
