Panthers Training Camp - Final Thoughts

Jeremy Igo

He is, but he is a rookie lineman. He is going to make a mistake here and there. Not very reasonable to expect otherwise. I think he will be fine though, especially towards the end of the year.

I just hope the huddle doesn't go ballistic and give up on him too early... they wouldn't do that... would they?

Huddles gonna huddle.

Thank you Jeremy for providing such top notch information on the team that we all love. Things are looking up in Carolina. I believe that we will win a super bowl with this core of players.

You know how I can tell your camp coverage is the best on the internet?

Because of so many new people I see posting here.

great coverage = happy members = social media sharing = new members.

Very well done, and welcome new people. I hope the first implosion after a loss this season doesn't sour you to the huddle experience or push you away. We tend to get emotional until cooler heads prevail.

I am so impressed by Bell, well done Byron! Sometimes, negativity can boost a player.................

Kb was my pre combine first round pick so i am happy and not really surprised, KK was my last year second pick (pre combine) and i wrote a thread about him so i am happy again and not surprised at all. and i am happy about everything else, thank you Jeremy.

Sometimes, a little faith and respect can do wonders as well..

Proud to have been fortunate enough to have him as my 2014 Adopted Panther ( a request made purely because I believed his got WAY more flack than he deserved)

Now if I can just figure out how to make one of those nice pretty adopt-a-panther sigs and attach it, I'd post in every single thread just to get the man's numbers out there. :)

Good luck Bell. Stay healthy~~

    • I think where they would be picked if redrafted before both classes have played enough football to really tell.  Baker literally looked like a washout with us after Cleveland gave up on him, then turned world beater with the Rams, got a prove it deal with the Bucs and has looked awesome ever since. Asking where Ward would’ve went had he went in ‘24 is just stupid.  I’m no GM, but I wouldn’t have taken Williams #1 either.  I would’ve taken Joe Milton way higher than he went.  I think Shadeur should’ve been a first round pick this year.  Point being, opinions are like buttholes, everybody has one.  It’s my opinion that Ward has that “something special.”  I get that feeling that he’ll be an even better pro than he was a collegiate QB because of whatever that quality is.  I think he’s gonna surprise a lot of people, especially being such an under appreciated first overall pick.
    • Where do we get our T-shirts and hats? Pretty sure this is the first championship ever in professional basketball or football in Charlotte!
    • Nice turnaround for Kon.  I’m still a little worried about his ability to create for himself and others, but it was SL.  Come regular season, he will playing a much different role and shots will be there for him.  He showed some reason for hope - and not just him, but the whole squad.  I suppose for the first time ever, we have drafted and acquired enough young talent that we actually not only competed for once, but won the whole thing in summer league.     Kon, Simpson, and Sims made all the difference.  Almost every year prior I felt we always struggled because we usually didn’t have a floor general/real PG to get us into offense.  This was such a breath of fresh air.  And look at us!  We finally are champions!😂
