Cam not playing Thurs, has rib injury

I understand your hope for upgrades from cuts. I'm just saying we aren't going to replace a starter from cuts. Anybody we do bring in won't be ready Week 1. So I personally would not hang my hat on that.

improving the quality of backups was all i ever intended to suggest

The fact of the matter is we aren't cam and we are all typing behind a computer screen. He's either gonna be fine or not. NFL players play through injuries, in fact this same man dominated even with a bad ankle. Quit the panic. Luckily are "tough" games are in the middle of the road. The Bucs aren't that good, new coach or not.

That Buc D is good....don't let a Schiano implosion fool you

Aaa the the huddle quick with the opinion, but never saw it to begin with or have any clue what happened.

Cam is the toughest QB in the league, I'm 99.98586% sure he will week 1 starter. I'm more worried about gameplanning both shula(ugh) and oppenents D(bring the heat and aiming for ribs).

Yes...but our D is better. And I'd still take our O even without Cam over theirs. Mccown and Napolean Dynamite don't scare me, and they've lost a starter on the sub par offensive line.

But seriously, if the Panthers and Rivera say "expected to play week 1" then that's all I need to hear.

    • He does have speed. 21+ top end speed is very fast for a linebacker and his 3 cone drill time is considered excellent, close to elite.
    • This is awesome because you get to see the perspectives of the scouts--get a glimpse behind the curtain. I wonder whose doing this was; I am curious as to why David Tepper allowed it. Maybe it was his wife. Maybe Dan.  At least from my perspective--and probably one shared by other fans--when David Tepper bought the team, he closed everything off too much to the fans, and really didn't give an explanation. Things were obviously done because he (and/or some others wanted to do it). Remember when they used the guise of construction and all that to keep fans from seeing the team during practice? I know there are laws and safety and all that, but Tepper could've made it happen. And, of course, we all know that they essentially fired Jeremy from his independent contractor gig as a photojournalist. I never understood why they'd do that (and the negative reverberations obviously affected Jeremy and ultimately this place--i.e, us fans). The pie was (and is) certainly big enough to throw some scraps to the independents. I realize that you can't necessarily open the floodgates, but a few different perspectives from indy journalists whether in word or photos is a good thing in my mind.  So, it's great to see different perspectives. I will say this however: it is not without risk, as you know there will be some buster who will be calling the scouts out if the players flop. I think we should all keep in mind that the buck stops with the GM. It's nice to have one, however, that is so convicted in his people and process--and ultimately success, that he's willing to give fans access to this type of information. Pass this on to Tepper.
    • I hope he ends up being our best ever at the position. Ryan Kalil left big shoes behind that we haven't quite been able to fill since.
