Bomani is doing the Cam vs Luck thing on Twitter atm

Best quote I've seen so far is that Luck has done more than Cam with less weapons.

I know we get these why does everyone hate on Cam threads and we are all a little sensitive and should toughen up but Damn the things people believe... or at least say.

Anyway its good for some laughs... or high blood pressure if you want to check it out. No matter how many times Jones points out they are about equal the dumb keeps coming.

I don't think it was intentional by him. When the news broke about the Alex Smith deal he tweeted a statement to the effect of Cam and Luck should be shopping for boats. To which someone responded something like how dare he put Cam in the same sentence with Luck which then opened the flood gate of stupid.

I'm tired of these topics. It's exhausting. Not mad at OP. We've just been down this road so many times.

Agreed in general. Only reason I started it was it gave us a different angle on things. instead of being an article written we got to see the stupidity straight from the source... the people.

And even confronted with contrary evidence they still spewed ignorance.

So I'll give you something that could exhaust you in a different way to make up for the thread....

Some hackers leaked nudes of Kate Upton and Jennifer Lawerence on Twitter tonight. Although though I don't condone it I sure as hell looked.

He's a columnist and needs to drive up topics. Why do people get upset about these things? The play on the field will tell. Bomani is really smart, so I always take his opinion. Don't always agree with it, but I listen.

Bomani is a Cam defender and is retweeting Cam haters to mock them.

Don't take it too personal,  with the Cam haters...   they are sheep that just listen to what the national media tells them....and the national media says that Luck is already as good as Peyton, Rodgers and Brees....  so they find it insulting if Luck is mentioned with any qb other than Peyton, Brees, rodgers or in-his-prime Brady.

I just don't care anymore. I mean, what's the point? People are so ignorant and stubborn that it doesn't matter what stats you put out. They already have their mind set on it and will never change it no matter what. Cam could go on and win 2 superbowls and they would still say it was the defense that won it for us.

    • Watching games this year again and Bryce missed a wide open XL many times and some of them were in the endzone. I get the kid has mental lapses and hasn't broke out yet, but this is year three on a rookie deal! Cutting bait now is too early. If he hasn't gained anymore trust from his QB, posted any highlights, little production, or outright gets beat out then we can talk movement.
    • Samesies   I truly may just cash completely out of Panther football if we give him a long term deal that isnt necessary.  I have watched NFL for 50 years now and I can without a shadow of a doubt say you cannot win consistently with BY.  Way too many limitations to deal with.   I may come back around in 3 years when the inevitable happens and all parties are either cut and/or fired.  Giving him a deal before this season so you hopefully can get him cheaper in case he "blows up" or if you truly believe that he will has to be the most moronic decision a gm can make when the evidence is laid before you with different players
    • This is the one! I was at that game and all KB had to do was lay down on the corner after the pick or make an obvious tag while he was down. He had already ran a lazy route. Then if Cam would've just walked to the sideline like most elite QBs instead of trying to make the tackle.  A lot of people bring up the TJ Watt hit, but he just reaggravated a bunch of scar tissue from that play. And every Cam hater said that the running did him in and it was a dive tackle attempt on an interception that initially began the shoulder deterioration. He still went to New England later and would've got them in the playoffs had their A team not sat out the covid year. We quit on him too early. But hey how good was Teddy? Am I right?
