You can't back DA, but he made the o line a none issue with quick reads pre and post snaps.

whoa whoa didn't say I wouldn't back him. I'm a name on the front of the jersey kinda guy. All I'm saying is I'd be much more comfortable with Cam back than the knots in my stomach and missing fingernails with DA under center.

He almost lost us the game. We need Cam back.

OMG!! WTF!! How did DA almost cost us the game? Besides that stupid throw at the end that almost got INT but didn't. If it wasn't for DA playing the way he did all game. We would have lost period. So stop been a douche bag and enjoy the win. Or go bitch some where else.

Did I say anything inaccurate? A pick six would have lost us the game. Calm your ass down.

Wanted Cam to sit, and I'm glad he did. He can sit again next week until he's ready to go.

Anderson started hot, but cooled off towards the end. Cam gets better as the season progresses. Anderson won't. Cam is more prolific. Anderson isn't. Sure, Anderson is a more accurate passer than Cam, but Anderson can thank DeAngelo's 72 yards for that today. Without a rushing threat, he'd have been in trouble.

I wanted to see the Panthers win WITHOUT CAM, to show how much better they will be with him.

Of course the doubters will say it proves the Panthers don't need Cam.

Again, Anderson gets worse the longer he's out there, which proves the opposite. But he needs to start next week and give Cam another day off to show some of you why he isn't fit for a whole season.

Olsen had his hands on that ball, he could have caught it.

Yes DA had a few errant throws, as does Cam.

Anderson played well enough.

His critics are going to try to dissect his play.

I doubt they would, iif the outcome of the game was the same with Cam as the starter.

Nobody is claiming DA a savior, but a lot of you are acting that way.

Most fans were straight up dogging DA before the game, can't even step up and eat some crow.

Lame.

Who the fug thinks DA replaces Cam, or even compares to Cam? You people saying he isn't Cam? NO fuging poo he isn't Cam. But this is why we keep signing him to backup duty. So when called on, he can go out and win us a tough game, in an opener, against a divisional opponent.

This is why we don't have some scrub like Blaine Gabbert as our backup. Now Cam has another week to heal up. Hopefully we don't need DA next week, but with this defense he at least gives us a fighting chance to win the game.

Some of y'all need to take comfort in the fact that our backup QB would be starting for the Bucs in a fuging heartbeat.

Our backup QB.

Backup.

    • Not sure who said it first, but Tepper is the correct answer. Still, I'm gonna go with Kasay keeping it inbounds. If, you subscribe to the butterfly effect version of time travel consequences.... When we win SBXXXVIII everybody's lives change: Moose never breaks his leg, We win it all again in 05. Tommy Jone is unknown and Peppers stays home, Champs once more 2008. No artificial pig heart turning JR into a creepy weirdo, no lockout, no Clausen. Fox and Jake ride off into the sunset on their own terms. No 2-14, no #1 pick. But, no laptop, no Blinn, 3 years behind The Golden Calf of Bristol, we still get Cam. JR let's him grow his locs like he always wanted, Smitty sees Cam in a new light. Dreads swinging, (and Smitty with his 3 Lombardis behind him) Cam is old enough to get those calls. No Manning narrative, Cotchery TD, PI against Talib on Philly Brown, 10,000 RTP calls and Kony Ealy SB50 MVP. No Jeans Fridays, no Tepper. KB doesn't slip on his own meatsweat mid-route in SD, Cam becomes the 1st QB to win 10 straight SBs. Retiring after being elected 47th president of the US of A, Cam ushers in the Permanent Proletarian Revolution across the globe, Xi Jinping bows in awe. "ẄøŘƙƐṛ§ őF ŧĤə ŵØRłð, ŮŊÏŦƐ!!!"
    • Yeah your right the owner was copping hand shandies while all this was going down
    • I mean not surprised the Patriots took him in and aren't trying to push him out. They've been the most morally bankrupt team in the NFL for a long while. Wouldn't be surprised if Vrabel has his own dirt on Kraft/Brady and other assholes from that organization over the last couple decades.
