Time of Possession

People can hate on Shula all they want too, but their is nothing wrong with a ball control offense when you're starting your backup qb.

For the most part he did a great job calling the game.  He set up playaction well.  Called safe routes to limit turnovers, and mixed in a couple of deep shots.

People wouldn't even be talking about this if DA and Olsen hook up on that touchdown pass.

Panthers had the upper hand yesterday with 11 more minutes than the Bucs.

Almost an entire quarter.

Credit to Shula. It is tough to lose any game where you have the ball for that much longer than your opponent.

lol we had 3 free turnovers and we snap the ball at the 1 second gameclock. I hope to fug we beat them in top.

crediting shula for taking his foot off the gas and bringing the game to that close is stupid. that DB on the bucs should have had a pick six, easily, and every game we won't be facing a retard QB that hands us two freebies, and then get a game winning turnover.

There was a time not long ago where we would give the ball right back after a quick three and out after a turnover.

    • We don't have to tear down Dak to appreciate what Bryce did yesterday. Dak had 0 running game. If the cowboys were better, he'd be a legit MVP candidate if he keeps playing this way.  They did it with Ceedee last year, but they do a better job of anybody we play consistently of getting their best receiver off Jaycee.  Bryce was good too. If we just catch the ball that was intercepted, we probably win by 7+, and Bryce goes over 200 yards passing.  Biggest shift the last few weeks has been play calling. I thought Canales abandoned the run game way to early at times last year. This year he really seems to be sticking with it.  I still think Chuba is better at making 4 yards when there's nothing there, but Rico is better at making 30 yards when there's 6 there. I like the direction. Hopefully we can get Moton, Sanders and Coker back and really be dangerous. Our play action game is pretty deadly right now.  Unrelated: My favorite quality about Bryce right now is his ability to see the defensive hold and throw the ball there. He EXPOSES the officials when they don't call it. That one on Tetaroia yesterday late in the game was a bad miss on their part.
    • That sacks allowed number lookin juicy!
    • This is a game the Panthers should win... just the sort of game they lose. The Panthers have a bad habit that goes back years of playing down to the competition's level only to mess around and lose the game. The Jets game should be taken very seriously! But I want to enjoy the fact that they beat the Cowboys for at least another day or so!
