So let's see...they just offically canned Rice in Baltimore and he won't be playing against us, then the NFL followed suit and suspended him indefinitly.Should make it a tad easier to stymie their running game.Guess it was Panther related after all..this won't make it any easier on Hardy unless he is cleared.

Ray Rice being on the field hasn't mattered since 2012.

the video is disgusting

Props to the Ravens for making the right move.  To keep him around after the visual evidence is out there would have been a huge distraction for that time.  They are probably better off moving forward as a team in all honesty.

can't say i agree with you on how the ravens dealt with this situation.  there was no other move they could have made.  they painted themselves into a corner on this one and they shouldn't get much respect for doing what they HAD to do.

Disgusting??? Why because he is gone and won't be on the field..guy is a scumbag and shouldn't be on the field..he is disgusting if anything is..the NFL just suspended him indefinitly so he may be gone for life.No team would touch him anyways.

Props to the Ravens my pasty white ass.  They KNEW what happened all along.  Anyone with a lick of common sense in his head that saw the vid of RR pulling her out of the elevator knew what happened.

They were just hoping either (1) separate video did not exist or (2) they knew separate video existed and they hoped that it would disappear.

The cover-up is always dirtier than the crime.

"Props to the Ravens"?  Fug them... they knew what RR was and tried to keep him anyway until they were publicly humiliated and were forced into this position.

schefter is going after the Hardy case today..he's bringing it up a lot

Yeah, he been on this one even before the trial.  It could be that Hardy is guilty, but given everything that's been said, I don't know why Schefty acts like it's clear cut guilt.  Anyone who paid any attention to the trial and what was written about it, would at least wait until the jury comes back on a sentence.

    • One thing about it, he's not thinking about retiring. I found it odd that some Huddlers were taking rumors and running with them, imagining a slow down and "up-playing" injuries. Moton feels great and is still in his prime according to him, and his game is still indicative of his thoughts.  Sure, it may ultimately come down to economics, but I am sure that everyone involved is motivated to keep him in Charlotte.
    • I think the knee stuff with Moton has been blown way out of proportion. The exact quote was “It’s chronic stuff. Most linemen deal with it. But it’s just figuring out what we can do to make sure it’s limited and I’m still able to explode off it, which right now I can and I feel like I can in the future,” After a while, you start learning more about it and what can we do to make sure it’s as little of an issue as possible. I feel like I’m moving like I was when I was younger.” I don't view that as a guy who's saying his knees are on their last leg I see that as a 10-year NFL olineman saying that obviously after 10 years of playing a really physical sport, he's never truly gonna be 100% healthy again and he's gonna need to spend more time with the training staff to ensure his body can continue to perform at a high level. I think Moton has another 3 to 5 years left if he wants to continue playing.
    • So much crying. Tiresome. All of you should have had enough time to come to terms with the team picking up his 5th year...
