I'm telling you guys, I wouldn't expect him to be on the 53 man roster this year unless he impresses. Hill has a lot of work to do.

I'd agree.

I know fans want there to be something imminent, but I really don't think the team is necessarily in any hurry.

I was expecting him to be brought up around week 4-7 but if KB keeps balling and Cotchery and Cam can get on the same page..

 

I don't expect him to make the 53 unless someone gets injured and we have to fill a roster spot.

I wouldn't say that, I think at some point he'll be brought up to active to ensure he stays with the team.  We just saw with Andrew Mcdonald, you can lose practice squad players.  Hill is a talent, and he has some great potential down the line.  Frankly, I think KB, Hill, and Bersin can be a great 1/2/3 at receiver in a year or 2.  KB is out dominant #1, Hill is our speed guy, and Bersin is our possession/slot receiver.  Best part is none of them will cost a ton for a while.

I would be prefer to keep him on the practice squad but still can't help but be nervous that another team will take him from us

and there is no reason to be in a hurry. what we have is fine unless injuries happen.

if Hill can prove that what happened in NY was a fluke, then sure. i'd be all for this. if he doesnt, then its a moot point haha

Exactly, the best part about it is the flyer on him costs us absolutely nothing, and if his potential does materialize (which if anyone can do it, it would be Proehl), then on his upside, we could have the absolute best 1-2 duo in the NFL in 2 years with him and Benjamin.
