The Observer: Panthers Should Suspend Hardy Now

Black

Recommended Posts

The Panthers should suspend him, and fans at Sunday’s game should turn their backs when Hardy takes the field. Because applauding Rice’s suspension while cheering for Hardy is the height of hypocrisy.

Jerry Richardson has shown himself to be a man of character with the highest standards for his players. Now comes one of his biggest tests.

Let's see....

One you have video evidence of a heinous act.

The other is a he said she said between two crazy people where the one being blamed is the one who called the cops because the other was coked up and had said drug on her person....

Yes these are the exact same thing.

Hardy is not 100% innocent but its wrong to group him with Rice.

You know else is looking hypocritical? How about the effing Charlotte Observer for not having the guts to write this editorial when Hardy was first arrested? It took video of a completely unrelated incident for them to write this?

The Charlotte Observer is a complete joke. Look no further than this "article" that was front and center on their home page this morning: http://www.charlotteobserver.com/2014/09/05/5152349/10-more-ways-you-can-make-it-through.html

WOW! Judge a man with no proof. This is only a He said She said type of debate. Why suspend the guy before he is guilty before a jury. So but totally disagree with this. To many people now days want to judge a person before they are found guilty. Let the man have his day in court before we ruin his career and life. Smh!! And how come the public can slam Christians for telling a another person that is gay is wrong against God. But yet these same people can go Judge a guy like Hardy for something he might have done or might not have done. It's all about the proof. People jump to concluison to quickly.

    • One thing about it, he's not thinking about retiring. I found it odd that some Huddlers were taking rumors and running with them, imagining a slow down and "up-playing" injuries. Moton feels great and is still in his prime according to him, and his game is still indicative of his thoughts.  Sure, it may ultimately come down to economics, but I am sure that everyone involved is motivated to keep him in Charlotte.
    • I think the knee stuff with Moton has been blown way out of proportion. The exact quote was “It’s chronic stuff. Most linemen deal with it. But it’s just figuring out what we can do to make sure it’s limited and I’m still able to explode off it, which right now I can and I feel like I can in the future,” After a while, you start learning more about it and what can we do to make sure it’s as little of an issue as possible. I feel like I’m moving like I was when I was younger.” I don't view that as a guy who's saying his knees are on their last leg I see that as a 10-year NFL olineman saying that obviously after 10 years of playing a really physical sport, he's never truly gonna be 100% healthy again and he's gonna need to spend more time with the training staff to ensure his body can continue to perform at a high level. I think Moton has another 3 to 5 years left if he wants to continue playing.
    • So much crying. Tiresome. All of you should have had enough time to come to terms with the team picking up his 5th year...
