Smitty may be even more pissed than we thought (Panthers related)

That video is exactly what I like and dislike about Smitty.

I like the passion, the fire, and the intensity. We've all seen it ....It is why Smith is a huge fan favorite and why I have his jersey.

I dislike the video because it's childish, immature, and unprofessional. Great players who are fierce competitors go to other teams at the end of their career all the time but Joe Monatana, Jerry Rice, Ed Reed, or any other player with class called their previous organization MFer's on the sideline.

Steve went on WFNZ, like he did every week, and openly stated that his sole mission was to make it to the Hall of Fame. I listened with my own damn ears.

I listened to the same interview, it pissed me off. It was ironic that he was cut soon after that interview.

He laughed when asked if he'd restructure and said he is chasing numbers. He also said he wouldn't be happy with a lesser role if it meant more wins and he would demand the ball.

Good riddance.

Yes. Mainly due to Cotchery and Avant. Those guys are serious mentors and all around really nice guys.

It's what I presumed.

Smith had to leave for new WR1 to come and so that Cam could play free.

I can imagine Kelvin Benjamin and Olsen getting more balls thrown their way, would make him pissed. Not an ideal work environment for Cam or for Benjamin to develop.

I think that the hassle wasn't worth it anymore.
