I have heard of this....pretty sure they are going to announce 3 things. One, we are moving to a 3-4. Two, Richardson said F the NFL and we are putting a Panther logo at mid-field. Three, Ookie is coming to Carolina. I'd be willing to bet the farm on all 3.......................just not my farm.

That would be sweet. You think in this years Madden they will have blacked out endzones for playoff games. That would be sweet!

Next playoff game we need the blacked-out endzones with the blue alternate jerseys on so our boys don't blend in. That's what happened I think, Jake just couldn't see our WR's because they were camouflauged. :willy_nilly:

One thing I would like to see done to the stadium(besides the mid field logo and black endzones) is...

You know the big badass cat statues out at the entrances? Why not have them inside the stadium? Like maybe have a statue or two of some panthers prowling the top of the stadium, or have a roaring panther above the stand entrances.

It would definitely make the stadium feel more alive and give you more of a sense that this is panther country, might help with crowd energy too.

Yes, I have spoken personally to Marty Hurney about the direction of this press conference

1) Fans will now be able to take off shirts, but only if one of these things happens-

a) Julius Peppers passes out from exhaustion

2) Meeks calls an all-out blitz while leaving Harris and Godfrey in coverage

D) Jake Delhomme overthrows Steve Smith

XI) Kemo stops a RB for a loss

144) Fans do the wave when the team is on defense

3) Jumbotron shows actual replays instead of CPI commercials or fertilzer ads

6) John Fox says something constructive and useful to the media

S) We hold a tight end to fewer than 5 catches

    • It’s wild to me that so many of you guys are threatened by the idea of an opposing team fan who is polite in 2025. He’s been posting here on and off for years, usually when our teams play each other which hasn’t been for a while. I’d maybe understand this treatment if it was a falcons or saints fan, but packers fans in general are one of the nicer fan bases as long as you aren’t another NFC north team (especially the bears).
    • Some players excel on the big stage, while others freeze and succumb to the pressure. I’m not convinced Cam took a dive. I think he didn’t handle the stage very well. The pressure got to him and he folded. He wouldn’t be the first quarterback or player to struggle in a Super Bowl. Two HOF examples - John Elway and Jim Kelly. The 2002 MVP, Rich Gannon, threw 5 interceptions against the Bucs. Poor performances happen.  Unless of course you believe all these players threw the games they played in, but if that occurred, surely someone by now would have admitted taking a dive? 🤷‍♂️
    • It was always a matter of time with Cam’s playing style and a shorter shelf life than passers that protect themselves. I suppose Cam could have still been playing in 2028 ten years after the hit took place, but he would need to have evolved as a quarterback and become more of a passer than the dual threat maestro he was. It’s sad because it makes us think of what could have been, but I do feel it was always a matter of time until all the hits took their toll.
