I don't know if this was posted before the season started, but at the beginning of our 20th year, the Panthers and Jaguars have both won 144 games and lost 160.  The Panthers have a 6-5 playoff record, the Jaguars 5-6.  They've had more winning seasons and playoff appearances than we have at 7 and 6 vs. 5 and 5, but we have a Superbowl appearance and they do not.  In head to head games, they hold a 3-2 edge.

For those of you who remember how much it sucked in the late 90s to watch them sustain their success while we paid for the Sean Gilbert trade and Rae Carruth, it's kind of nice to think that we've not only caught up to them, we have already passed them this year, and look to surge ahead over the next few.

I got friends in Jacksonville who are die hard Jags fans...the one thing the Jags got going for them is the cabanas in the stadium. My buddy says it's a pretty fun time...

Jerry Richardson would poo an entire bo berry biscuit if someone approached him with this idea for his stadium.

If the not enough Panther fans trend continues, could see seats being ripped out and party decks put in. Be a great spot to watch a concert, too.

    • But again as I stated in the other thread, other than JJ Jansen, the only constant since Tepper bought the team has been Tepper himself. We have an ownership problem. Almost every single one of this team's issues can be traced back to David Tepper.
    • My deceased father was an All-ACC End and he raised me teaching me football--I never realized how he changed my understanding of the game--however, one thing he said that I will never forget:  The measure of a good NFL QB is this:  "If your team is down by 6 or fewer points in the fourth quarter but has the ball with under two minutes and with 2 timeouts, are you favored to win?  Can he put the team on his back and drive the field for a TD more than 50% of the time?"  If we are down 14-20 and have the ball on our own 20 with 2 timeouts--does Bryce win the game more than 50% of the time?  (It rarely happens).  If not, there is no reason to keep him around.  If he gets hot and we win a few games, he will want major $$$.  While I am not blaming him, I do not see that Alpha at QB.  Sorry.  He has improved, but do we have that Alpha dawg in the huddle when the game is on the line?  That 4th down pass in the end zone tells us what he is--unfortunately.
    • Lol Curry was an elite shooter the moment he stepped into the big leagues, dude wasn't out there shooting 15% from three.   Accuracy is 100% coachable, its the physical talent that cant be coached lol.   Josh Allen completed 52% of his passes for 10 tds and 12 ints as a rookie....   Improving from that to what he is now is NOT NATURAL talent it is work....
