Underdogs

There's nothing more painful than knowing that your quarterback is aged and not as flashy as Cam.

There's nothing like hearing how the other team has depth enough on their defensive line that their third stringers can play on other teams.

A team that has had a winning culture for decades came into Charlotte an again had to remind the world that aged wine is gold.

They were praying to the football gods for Carolina to just make at least one mistake so that the game can be at least be close.

Instead of all weeks to have a veteran team come into town after the hell that was Hardy week - we just kept it blessing steelers with opportunity after opportunity and they kept capitalizing.

We're now the underdogs - we've got the mighty Steve smith who wants to burn the Carolina team to the ground.

We don't have Hardy so now our defense will fall to the bottom of the NFL rankings.

Schula our offensive mastermind cannot come up with creative schemes to protect Cam when other teams are rushing 3 lol .

Weird at some point last year we were calling for Rons head after going 0 - 3.

What happened -

We became the underdogs and I cannot find another way to explain yesterday's ass whooping.

Dear Ravens - Id really really hate to be you this Sunday.

Love Propaganda

Mr. Madison, what you've just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard. At no point in your rambling, incoherent response were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it. I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.

If I was betting on this Sunday's game I would probably put my money on Baltimore, unless Flacco decides to take his time in the pocket.  Not saying we can't beat them when healthy....we have just have a ton of injuries right now.  I think we'll get back on track when we get a little healthier.

    • More praise of Renfrow from Tim Weaver (formerly of USA Today's Panthers Wire, now SI.com), and also what I told some of you, my Huddle friends, from the start: keep it all in perspective, and don't conveniently---and perhaps unfairly, discount and label Renfrow as a JAG when it was a very debilitating illness affecting his play.    "It's understandable to be skeptical about Renfrow's abilities at this late point in his career. After all, he missed all of last season due to a bout of ulcerative colitis that also took a serious toll on his production in 2022 and 2023."   When Renfrow is healthy, he's an above average guy. Being 29 may hurt or help his chances depending upon perspective, but 29 for receivers generally means that there's still (sometimes plenty) gas in the tank. Renfrow also obviously has plenty of motivation and has come with his game face.   "Then agan, seeing is believing and by all accounts Renfrow has been very impressive since joining the Panthers a few months ago... Where Renfrow will fit in Carolina's new-look receiver corps remains to be seen, but at this rate it's going to be hard to exclude him from the initial 53-man roster." https://www.si.com/nfl/panthers/hunter-renfrow-sick-route-panthers-training-camp Read the room, ladies and gentlemen. And don't get it twisted; Renfrow isn't the most talented receiver on the team, but we have seen his ceiling, when healthy, in a Raiders offense that wasn't necessary replete with talent. Consider what he can do, especially in the slot, in a Panthers offense primed with young talent (no pun intended). From sick to "sick routes," eh?
    • That is literally what I am talking about. Those were 53 man cuts. Not at the beginning of camp.  I would say the odds of Barno being back are extremely thin.
