So this was the guy who we were praising all offseason?

 

The guy is the reason we have regressed as a team.

 

#1 He cuts our best freaking player on offense and got nothing in return for him. Nothing! KB...scored today

#2 Our 2 vet lineman retires and what does he do to replace them? Nothing! Agreed

#3 We lose Ginn/Lafell 2 young WR's. What does he do add 2 old aging vets? So why did we cut Smitty? Cotchery and Avant are vast improvements over Lafell and Ginn

#4 Greg Hardy nuff said. Hardy beats the poo out of someone and that's GMan's fault?

 

It seems like cutting Steve Smith was a personal agenda from Gettleman. He thought Smitty was a me first player, so he cut him.

 

Again why cut a aging star WR Smitty? To only replace him with 2 aging average WR's? We didn't replace Smitty with 2 aging WR's. we replaced two non-catching POS for 2 reliable pass catchers.  KB replaced SMitty and has done a great job thus far.

 

 

 

Plain and simple Gettleman didn't have a plan for this season. This was basically his rebuilding year.

 

 

I still believe in this team, but we are blaming the wrong people, this is all Gettleman's fault.

 

The problem isn't Gman...it's playcalling and the fact our O-line is poo.  Hardy put our defense in jeopardy not GMan.

The media would be out for blood if they tried to bring him back now. The move would be too transparent. There's no bringing him back after you start losing. Should've never suspended him, like smart people said before they started losing.

The only problem I have with him is the Smith cut. But it doesn't sound as if he had much choice. Smith wouldn't take a pay cut and wasn't putting up great numbers for us. Maybe that was in part bc of Cam but maybe he was just too comfortable in Charlotte.

As far as the Hardy situation...he had no control over that and it's pretty obvious Hardy was a serious part of our defense considering how bad we suck without him.

Until we can clear some crap off of our cap (Deangelo, Charles Johnson, Stewart) we are strapped. We essentially need an entirely new OL with exception to RG and C. If you can't protect Cam then the O is going nowhere. Our RBs suck..nobody is gameplanning for those guys.

Between Hardy and our injuries to this point we are lucky to be 2-2. But if we can't get healthy and our defense continues to suck we're going to be drafting in the top 10 again.

What has DG done for Cam?  Absolutely nothing.  He hasn't done a thing for the franchise QB.  There is no way I would negotiate with this fool if I'm Cam's agent... we're breaking the bank.

My point is that you need to consider what our defense has done without him in the lineup. We are atrocious and get zero pass rush. So...he WAS worth the franchise tag. Unfortunately he's a freaking moron off the field.

Do I wish we hadn't wasted the money? Of course..but you can't predict that guys are going to be idiots off the field. He's had the most sacks in the league over the last 2 years.

Hardy would STILL BE PLAYING had he never been suspended, like I said he shouldn't have been weeks ago. After the Panthers' boneheaded decision to sit him, there is no bringing him back after you start losing. If they couldn't stand up to media pressure before losing two games, let them try to bring him back now.
