Cracking Down on this Forum

the chat room during the game yesterday was unreal...the guy who posted the jameis winston quote should be dealt with harshly. and that's all he had to say, nothing else.

To be honest. When things are going badly, and I mean immediately after something bad happens. I leave the Huddle until after the game. It just ain't worth the headache.

And it isn't just the chat room. Threads pop up at the drop of the ball. I used to find it humorous. Now? Not so much. I enjoy my football. And it is damm difficult to enjoy it when folks go all...goofy.

I'm in 100% agreement with this. Far too often there is nothing but smart-alick, condensending comments as responses. Now that you're taking care of this, what about the school teachers or/and the grammar police. Many people get their post count up by smart comments about a mis-spelled name or/and any other mis-spelling. Or, are they included in the Crack Down...

Exactly right...Some feel the need to share their frustrations by creating overreaction threads. It's over the top, selfish, not well thought out and it pollutes the forum. In other words, garbage shitposting

I understand your concerns. To me, the grammar Nazi's are just an annoyance. Kinda like having to spend a Friday night at the in-laws. I know it is going to be...trying. But I have to do it. If the wife ain't happy, ain't no one happy.

I would like to say this. If folks took a few moments to proofread there posts. It would go a long way towards ending those annoying grammar police posts.

I know...phones, fat fingers, auto-correct are all legitimate excuses. But, taking a few seconds to reread a post could help alleviate the problem.

Ok, end of rant.

My new favorite saying is. "I ain't happy, and I want to share." If it weren't so wide-spread, it could almost be humorous.

    • Yep, you're right. I forgot about that. Fly was banged up, but RBA put him on the ice for a reason, too. Could have put KK out there, but there was a purpose for Deslauriers on the ice.
    • I wasn’t speaking of Metchie in the context that I referenced Renfro  I couldn’t, he hasn’t played a snap for us    My Metchie esteem level is just not real high. As an NFL WR.  I am no expert on WRs it’s just what I think based on how it has gone for him as a pro  If he can’t catch on here with his old buddy then who is left? I am not wishing him any misfortune and hope he does well because that means we stole some talent; basically for free to boot.
    • No one said it would be a permanent thing.  The best thing about having more than two good corners is that you can play them in different position which changes how a QB sees the play unfolding.  You put question marks on a QB you had a second or so of decision making and gives our improved (hopefully) DL a chance to sack him.  If Thornton and Lee turn out to be studs you have 4 good CBs that can be used all over the defense.  That's a good thing.  If you are looking at it just based on salary it is kind of weak take.
