Not an overreaction: Velasco > Amini

I wouldn't go nut for Velasco. He has played like crap too this season and pretty much his whole career before today. Amini didn't play much but he looked better the past two weeks. Our entire line looked better the past two weeks.

Are they improving? Is the game plan better? Or did the Bengals not match up well vs. us? We do a ton of 3 man routes which make Cam's job tough.

I was really hoping Amini would work out, but he looks like one of those big fish in a small pond type prospects.  Dominated against far inferior competition in college and it's just not translating to the NFL.

So far he has not been worth a 2nd round pick. But he is still a young man. He has a long career ahead of him. May never be worth a 2nd but I still think he can be a starter for us going forward.

Amini was a 2nd round pick too

I can't think of one Hurney pick that's doing something significant to help us win this season. And before people say Cam, Rivera is the one who scouted Cam and told Hurney to draft him. When I say significant I mean making game changing plays consistently

Hmm let's see...

Thomas Davis

Luke Kuechly

Ryan Kalil

Is that enough?

You can add Deangelo and Stewart, even though they are hurt right now.

Luke? TD? CJ? Kalil?
