The people who have said that the decision is out of the panthers hands are correct.  It's not up to the panthers whether or not he sits or plays, it's up to the NFL. That said, the NFLPA needs to get in on this now and defend their players.  He is getting paid, but this id hurting his career, and just like they defended Rice, they need to defend Hardy stating he should not be punished in excess of what the punishment would be should he have been found guilty. There is the argument, and there is who has to make this argument.  I have 0 faith it will happen though unfortunately though.

He is not suspended. He will not be back until after his court date and if found guilty he will never be back. San Francisco is without Aldon Smith but they are still producing on defense. This D needs to step up and no use whining over Hardy. He is not coming back to save us. Get over it.

that would be the justification point of a return... nothing will happen prior to because they'd have to eat crow... so you know that's not going to happen. it's darn near impossible for a jury to come back guilty considering the truths of the testimonies. so he'd innocent. nevertheless if not, they could argue he has served his 6 week suspension already and pay back that money.

The one thing that can change the situation is if Rice get reinstated.

 

The two situations are very different with Rice being suspended and Hardy on the weird list, but there is no way you can defend having Rice back before Hardy.

Now that clown aldon Smith is being reinstated early, Ray rice will be back before hardy. Insane. He should have just accepted his fate took the mild punishment and probably a two game suspension.

Really, if Rice is reinstated, everyone should get to come back. There will be no reason for them not too. They can all point to Rice. NFL fuged themselves on this one.
