Does our Oline get confused when it comes to some 3-4 defenses?

Packers, Ravens and Steelers absolutely destroyed our Oline.     Steelers were rushing three defenders and still applying a ton of pressure on Cam.         All three  defenses that runs a 3-4 base defense.

 

 

Last season....  Cardinals and both Saints games stifled our offense.

I think our tackles especially struggle against speed rushers, which is what you usually get against 3-4s. Our offense, especially our OLine has actually played really well and scored alot of points against 4-3 defenses

3-4 is a superior D. more versatile and can disguise overages / blitzes better. can also dial up a lot more unique blitz packages.

So, we can expect a blowout loss in one of those Saints games? But to answer your question, it seems something goes wrong with our OL when we face a 3-4.

I'm not ignoring the 3-4 issue because it's completely obvious.  But, it has nothing to do with our defense sucking ass during these games.  If the defense was decent, I think they'd still be close games.

Nothing, but that's a defensive discussion though. This is about the offensive ability to do anything against it. Would it hurt less if we lost 35-38? Yes

it sure was a better result when bell was out. funny thing was that's when chandler got beat. i think the backup played well.... that one block where cam stood directly behind the olinemen was proof.

Should be a big ass bulletin board on it in the locker room. Rivera actually spoke on  it. I forgot which game it was, I think it was before  the Bears game they asked him questions about the 3-4 in one of those press conferences
