The QB coach we hired to coach Cam (2013-now): age 33 Ken Dorsey, 2-11 record as NFL QB, 52.5%, 8 TD, 18 INT, 55.2 QB rating

just because he didn't have the physical tools to be a good NFL QB, that doesn't mean he doesn't know how to coach Cam to be a good NFL QB.

Some of the greatest coaches in the history of football were mediocre players, if they even made the NFL at all.

wouldn't you rather have a proven QB coach rather than a 33 year old with zero NFL or NCAA coaching experience?

Opie, your reasoning is fuging idiotic. Being a great player does not make you a great coach and being a great coach doesn't mean you were a great player. I mean wtf did Bill Belicheck do as a player? He didn't even play in the NFL. According to your logic MJ should be a master at finding talent in the NBA, but in reality he isn't.

Geeeez here we go another lost let's find a problem that isn't the problem . Before the last two games cam was throwing find the issue is OC cam can run again and the coaches went away from the one part of the game that works

Did you have a stroke while typing this?

anybody see a problem here?

And the problem isn't just that. What is Cam really be asked to do during the games?

The team had a chance for a TD in the first quarter. It was like 1st and goal? What game play was given that cause this team to simply settle for a field goal. The Panthers made three field goals in four quarters against a team who won the SB last season and isn't playing as well this time around. That cannot be all on Cam and his coach.

    • I was playing around with the ESPN playoff predictor and it shows if 49ers and Rams finish with same record, the Rams hold the tiebreaker.
    • This is my thinking as well. Seattle played as good as they could on defense and Panthers still had a chance until those back to back turnovers.  I don't think the Rams played particularly well in their game against us, alot things went our way in order to win.  Someone pointed out the Rams were bad on the east coast road games and Seattle has been the better road team but they just fought a hard contested game against the Panthers, and now they travel to San Fran this week for their biggest game of the season to determine the division and if they are the overall #1 seed in the NFC or will be traveling for the Wildcard weekend.  If they lose they then travel back cross the country to play a team they've just beaten two weeks ago, not saying they won't be favored against the Panthers but the energy of hosting our first playoff game in 10 years along with the get back effect of having just lost to this team could be huge.
    • I don’t know about shadowing and all that, but according to this, whatever we are doing is working
