David Foucault Starting at Left Tackle

Hoping he does very well, and we never see Bell at left tackle again.

That's exactly what I said. Please, please, please let Foucalt play good. There is absolutely no way Foucalt can play any worse than Bell. Hell, all he has to do is fall in front of defenders and he is automatically better than his sorry ass.

People remember the dozen or so times Bell has screwed up but he's started every game this season and played almost every snap.  He held up very well for 90% of those plays.  He doesn't get beat every time he lines up.  He's not nearly as bad as people think.  He's played well enough for us to win some games.

I'm not saying he's a great LT but he's no where near as bad as everyone makes him out to be.

I really hope Faucault excels and does a great job but an undrafted rookie who was playing in Canada last year does not feel me with great joy.

I'm much rather have Bell starting.

Nice post, Byron Bell.

I know everyone hates Bell.  Me too. He sucks.  But Foucault is worse  (at least for now).  This is going to be painful.  The Saints have two very strong pass rushers (jordan and gallette) and DT (bunkley and hicks) and our left side is two ROOKIE UDFA.

    • I thought he was from watching him play and also doing his first HC job. I thought he was the real deal  Apparently what happened is Kraft committed to Mayo and I don’t remember the timeline exactly - but Vrabel was unemployed at the same time Belichick was unemployed. They both were fired (or out) after the 2023 season.  Kraft hired Mayo. Who was kind of an obvious disaster. He probably already had the deal in place but I will give Kraft credit for not sleeping. With Vrabel out there for 2025 he made the move he needed to make and if it hurt Mayo’s feelings then oh well.  I guess you can tell I am not fond of Kraft but that was a really savvy move. At his age, pretty good. Still has it.
    • It’s going to feel like a home game for the bills. There are so many of their fans that live down here now, and many of them have never seen Allen play in person since their last visit was 8 years ago. It didn’t matter for the cowboys game, but it might here. I think we likely lose a close one. Probably a questionable flag or two that doesn’t go our way. X factor for Buffalo will be Kincaid and Knox. If we do win it’s because we get ahead and play keep away from Allen. FYI- I have many friends who are Bills fans that are fed up with Beane who we all revere and think is the one that got away. They feel like he was great to land Josh but has done a terrible job of building around him (especially at WR) and rely on him to become super man to win- sounds kind of familiar, like the last time we had a franchise QB.
    • I always thought of him as an uptight military family dude, didn't know he needs to wash that mouth out with soap lol.
