DeAngelo should be relegated to 3rd down back / spell purposes. 5-8 carries a game. He can't create something out of nothing with the line he has in front of him like Stew can.

I've always been a DeAngelo fan, but what has he done this year? He had a great opening game, and since then he's been injured and averaging 2.8 ypc with a long of 7 yards.

 

That's not going to get it done.

 

I would be shocked if he is on the roster next season.

this isn't 2008. rotating these guys kills momentum. last night, stewart was hot from touch one. there was no logical reason for him to only touch the ball 8x.

he was running better then Stewart before the injury and this is his first game back, guy had a nice 30 yard gainer and no one wants to acknowledge that but harp about how bad a rb he is after his first game back.

Really haven't even thought Deangelo for a while. I have no clue why he is still getting snaps over Stewart.

 

DWill has value if he's utilized correctly.  He's a beast on screens.  Boggles my mind we only threw one to him last night.

if you have to have a back that can run behind carolina's rag tag oline, it's stewart.

he popped nearly 6 yards a carry last night.

stewart is breaking more tackles per carry than any back in the league right now.

I like what other teams have been doing, grab good serviceable running backs in later rounds.

Seems like few teams hold on to their runningbacks for very long.
