I'd love to see Ron gone at the end of the season. None of the players are buying into his dumb strategies, and none of the fans with more than an ounce of brain cells are buying his "lack of execution" spiel he repeats every week. Any coach that adequately prepares his team most weeks can say "they didn't execute" when their team blows a popcorn fart every once in a while. When you have to say "they didn't execute" every single week, the whole gameplan is fuging bunk.

If the team basically loses out or finishes 5-10-1 at best that's when things are going to get interesting because we're going to see just how committed JR is to winning, and if he doesn't give his infallible blessing to Gettleman to cut the crap off of the team (namely, Ron and his stooge assistants), we're going to have our answer.

Wasn't the Rivera extension Big Dave's first major move as GM? Between that and Richardson being.. uh.. frugal, I don't think Rivera is going anywhere for a while. If we're very lucky, Shula might get sacrificed, but I don't think I'd even put money on that. Too many baked-in excuses for this shitshow season with personnel and money being what they are.
