It's important to remember our roots and pie traditions, yes. And for that I am forever grateful for pumpkin pie, apple pie and cherry pie.

It's also important to usher in the future and embrace a whole new world of crusted delicacies. Coconut cream, chocolate cream and my favorite, banana cream are worthy of your palate as well.

All I'm saying is can we finally put an end to all this piegregation and can we focus on a united, stronger, open minded and accepting crust culture?

Give me pie, all pies, all cobblers, all creams, all tarts. Give me pies or give me death.
